Just a couple of ideas I had regarding clan houses and the general aspects surrounding them, some might seem a bit too much, but then, so are most suggestions.

1)First, refund the full amount of gold the clan houses are worth to each respective chairman, and delete them. Since the creation of the personal vaults were created, personal vaults have become useless and therefore end up as wasted gold, but this isn't the only reason for this as you'll soon find out. Obviously if this was to take effect, the staff would give ample time for the chairman to write down all the descriptions beforehand.

Next, make some new clan house lots in other towns (preferrably all of them).

Now, when creating a clan house the chairman has the choice of choosing which town in which to allocate in, but depending on which town is chosen (and how big of an advantage it is to have a house there), the creation fee and cost of rooms would be increased from the normal prices, from as little as 1/5 more for a house and its rooms in say Arilin, or even 2/3 for one in Silversail for example. I suppose that the Estate Agents in Nightmist could be modified to cater to these new options instead of creating a bunch of new commands.

2) The option of having more then one clan house. I find it very annoying if there is a clan event being held in Arilin, and I'm all the way down in Dendeya or the Desert. As said above, the price increasements would apply to any subsequent houses made, but the creation fee for the house would be increased again. This is why I said to refund the original house's gold, with the extra gold from the barely needed vaults (or even empty rooms) a clan could put it towards another house or restructuring the old one.

Rooms:

1) A mosh square. I know we have the no-Exp dueling arena, but due to its "Stop all Attacking" button, it doesnt really give you the feel for a mosh since a clannie could simply push the button and make us wait for another countdown to finish(I know, if a clannie did that you could just boot him, but if that were the soultion to everything, that would be pretty sad). Give us access to make a square that is pk-enabled that has camo/invis/covert disabled, a "Crazy Pete" square if you prefer. Also, it would be nice if when you made multiple squares of this type around beside each other, that the walls disappeared to connect them all to make a genuine mosh arena. Reasonable price, probably 25k more then the dueling arena. /shrug

2)A bazaar. A shop that has the ability to sell 10 items that are set to be sold there. Cost to set item would depend on the items value and properties, and only items sold in other towns would be eligible. In other words, it wouldn't cost much to set a Short Sword to be sold, but advanced healing potions and crystals would take a considerable price to set since they are an essential to training etc...Limit 1 per house. EDIT: Forgot to add that items cannot be sold in this shop.

3)The most far-fetched idea I had. A Vortex Rift. This square would allow you to "warp" to another clan house that contains A Vortex Rift. There are some serious advantages to this(boss jumping, training low lvls, pking purposes). Cost would be a minimum of 1 mil, the house must have a minimum of 25 roms, and you need a recieving Rift to warp (you cant warp to a house that doesnt have a Vortex Rift). There would be a mage on the square, so when you clicked the button to warp it said something like "The rift keeper extends his hand, and opens a portal to "Arilin House."

There it is. I know full well that these ideas have a 0.0001% of getting into the game since the would probably require a lot of coding nd whatnot. Now lets hear what you have to say about these. (I personally think this would make for a chance to increase clan rivalry since most smaller clans would want the benefits such as the Vortex Rift that the larger and more skilled clans would be able to get, resulting in fewer, larger clans.)

get 25 rooms :)

...and 2 clan houses is kinda dumb hence theres no need for vortex rift

...the shop thing might be a cool idea tho

Might as well reply to that before I get off.

Yes, you can easily get your clan house moved to a different town once the house reaches that size, but theres always the possibility that a clan wants their first house to be in a different city, not be in NM until the house is that large before being moved. Also, although its likely that moving around houses like that isn't much hinderence to the staff, with this it would be automated and therefore one less thing the staff have to take time to do.

And yeah, having multiple clan houses does seem pointless, unless you doing it to specifically get access to the Vortex Rift, or if your one of those vain clans that do everything in the power to increase their rank (lol having three houses with 25 rooms each would increase the clan score by quite a sum I would believe.)

Now, go back to posting your thoughts/flames, whatever.

I like the idea of being able to create other clan houses in different towns, but that vortex rift your talking about was implemented once before. It was removed for reasons I dont know of. (I didn't play then) Shops are all over the towns now, there isn't much of a need for one within the clan house.

Hence...

I like multiple clan houses, yet I chalk "vortex rift" and shops in the clan houses up to lazyness.

If you bought a car and used it then sold it, would you get a full refund? No.

It's a privilage to get your clanhouse out of nightmist for ease of use recreations and avalibility.

I read this several times...and I still think these are pretty...shall we say, unfeasable ideas.

Although, I do have this to say. I think it would be nice if you could add a Vortex ability to a square. It'd be something unique and give a little more purpose to the spell Vortex Gate since...well...let's face it, it doesn't do a whole lot as of now.

Vortex won't be put back in, players need to explore not hop the train.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I meant that vortex gates should be allowed in one, single clan house.

I don't mean this gate should allow people to teleport to crazy, exotic places out there in the Realm.

-Clan sales will stay the same.
- Having clan houses outside of Nightmist is a perk for high ranking clans. It will stay that way for the time being.
- Having more than one clan house allows clans such as TR to capitalize the map. IE: putting a one square house (sauna) in every town making pking, training, etc. easier.
- Your idea for the mosh arena was what we had before we installed the countdown system.
- Unsure what you mean on the Bazaar idea. Is this for a clan house? If it is then not liked. :)
- No warp rifts. As previously stated big clans can easily afford 1 mil. You set a price and they'll eventually get it. It will attract people to these big clans unbalancing the clan system we currently have. Then again maybe some people would prefer this? Conclusion: won't be implemented.

Sorry for shooting down every idea.
We'll douse ourselves in gasoline and hang our bodies from the lampposts.
