There have been many posts recently that try to offer suggestions on how to better the game, but even though the ideas in them may be sound, they are almost certainly going to be ignored because they are formatted in a way that make them impossible for the staff to use.

Here are some guidelines for posting suggestions and improvements:

1) Post one idea per thread. Posts containing 10+ suggestions make it impossible for forum users to effectively comment.

2) Give your post a title that lets us find the suggestion without difficulty. Titles like "game improvements" will be forgotten as soon as they are no longer the top thread.

3) Identify the server that you are using. Multi and 1a have very different balance issues and what is perfectly fine for 1a may be unbalanced on the multi server.

4) Identify who you are in game. It lets us find you if we have questions and makes your post more believable.

5) Avoid harshing on existing content. Tell us what doesn't work, but do it politely. Remember that quite a few people put in a lot of work so that you can play a complex gameworld for free.

6) Don't assume that 1a and multi are the same. The two games are evolving to be different... what you could do on multi may be more or less difficult on 1a.

7) Realize that development is focusing on 1a. We're working to fix bugs in multi, but there will not be major changes/additions/developments to multi in the near future.

Threads not following these guidelines will be ignored, deleted, or locked as appropriate.
