The earthquakes that plagued the realm brought more then just artifacts, they brought about the dead clawing themselves from the many graveyards that loitered the lands, dirt loosen due to the vibrations that plagued the world. The Mages of the Macabre Arcane known as Necromancers had called forth the nightmares of the people across the land, called forth the dead that laid buried within the earth being feasted on by burial insects. A portal split open, inky swirls of night randomly splashed with crimson blotches beckoning people into a word unknown, a new kingdom. The Kingdom of Necropolis was a new land, unexplored and vast, harboring many adventures. A Thief, a halfling at that, had claimed the lands, from the sea of sorrows, to the gullotine mountains, and now traveling between Nightmist, and the Kingdom he tries to bridge the gap of the unknown by recruiting patrons to fill the lands with their stories.
