Ok, I am looking for answers/speculation and hopefully at some point staff input on this. Elshira has now been dropped 10+ times on 1-alt in the last week with no drop. I realize that all the drop rates were changed when the new items were added, but did her's get broken some how or is it just that rare a drop now? I'm beginning to wonder if it is even worth trying to farm for this item as it just doesn't seem to want to drop. Any thoughts on this issue would be appreciated.

Spider Staff was always fairly rare. I believe on the Main Server, it's something like 10% (unchanged for decades).

maybe I am not remembering correctly, but 10% is definitely out as we are at a minimum of 11 kills for this week alone with no drop. I say minimum of 11 because there are at least 2 of use trying for it on a regular basis. I really felt like the drop rate on 1-alt was better than that.

its around 22 kills per drop on average

 

im guessing its 4-5% drop.  most drop rates are bad on 1a for new players.  its part of the whole downward spiral of nightmist.  game was heinously changed for veteran appeal forgoing all hope of noobs. im sorry for that.  

 

if u still need a staff ill give you one.

So I have also noticed that the Sentry spider guarding entrance to spidy tunnels from the meadow has been MIA for a couple days now. Wondering if that is indicative of a bug of some sort.

Square was over stacked with Bunnies. It's back now

 

PS - Only 5 Monsters will spawn/sit on a square.

if you have a couple extra laying around I would be willing to purchase one from you for 1a gold if I can catch you on too. I ended up rolling a little elf I wanna try as a ranger here and there even though the gains suck so far.

ah darn! nevermind then but thanks for responding quickly! I was looking for one on 1a! lol but its not a big deal I'll level out of it fast enough to not really need one I just wanted one as a luxury for those lower levels
