Nightwish are pretty darn good. I love power metal But nothing beats KISS or The Darkness.

This is rather easy really, Insane Clown Posse...but you can't really call them a band now can you? However they are my fav and of course I have an equal liking towards the other artists on the Psychopathic Records label

Mushroomhead, and MSI are my favorites. If I had to pick one from the two, i'd say Mushroomhead, because I just can go back to them and listen to some of their older stuff and enjoy it.

But J Mann just left Mushroomhead, so who the hell knows what they're going to sound like now.

i can't believe i'm one of the frist to say this, but it was a close competition between the beetles, the stones, and the beach boys. beach boys won in a close vote. kudos who ever voted peral jam, and moose who ever voted the rhcp and fucjkt hem even more for biting off me for mentioning them. bascially, moose you for not mentioning a band that hasn't been mentioned before. go the cure. moose all you guys, you suck.

My gawd, exactly what I was thinking to post, including the desert island thingy, as I was reading down through the posts. How freaky!

Cept instead of Godsmack, I'd bring as my third Led Zep.

I've listened to Pink Floyd and Led Zep for over 20 years now, and they both still get played regularly. In fact I just bought Dardside of the Moon on remastered DVD, with interviews etc. (Roger Waters is a pompus git, but he's also a genius, so its ok) must be my 5th version of it.

And Metallica cas they just rock, and you need something like that on a desert island.
