I always loved Camaros... until the time came when I had kids and no clue how to fit both kids in car seats, stroller and groceries into it, so now I tend towards stationwagons and mini-vans.

Since it seems that you don't have those particular worries though, I voted Camaro.

if you can afford that car you can pretty much pay the insurance too i guess. and it would be cheap on road tax cuz it weighs as much as a toaster (according to the top gear guy)

Why would i want to drive a toaster? Imagine if a fly crashed into it, the car would be wrecked!

don't get the camrao for a couple of reasons. number one, they did both interior and suspension changes for the 98 model. the old camaros were so freaking heavy and long that it's so freaking hard to turn those bad boys around without laying on the very squishy breaks (or heel toeing it if you can). also, depending on where you live, they will accumulate rust more so than either the truck or wagon (due to ground clearance). also, insurance will very most likely be highest for the cam, the tuck, then shaggin wagon.

don't get the van. it is not quirky cool; it's shamefully lame.

get the truck. it'll probably last the longest out of all of them (chevy trucks are pretty indestructable, but then again ram vans are pretty durable), it's an auto you don't have to be embarassed to have valet parked for you (read wagon), has a nice utility to fun-to-drive ratio, and looks the coolest.

i'm a chevy fan, but they stopped production of the camaro for a reason...it was a nutsty car. truck wins hands down.

My father owns a 2003 Silverado. Excellent trucks. Nice ride. Are you looking at one with a Quad Cab or Extended Cab, or just a regular two person one? My father's is a Extended Cab and there is plenty of room in the back seat for passengers. Quad Cab is more of a luxury and not needed...

The trucks can be kind of big though so don't expect to slide through tight traffic situations easily.

Plus you can't forget that you can haul things with the truck. All of my junk for college fit in the bed of our truck (which I must say... was much more than I probably should've brought ^_^) Good luck doing so with a camaro.

No heated mirrors. Those are just breakage waiting to happen especially during winter. That is one of the only issues that we have had with our truck that is reoccuring - but it was optional.

One thing to note though, though they are very good quality, if you are buying somewhat new make sure you get a warranty on it. I think that goes for just about any new vehicle though eh?

FYI: I heard Ford's are the easiest cars for thieves to break into. Hondas are said to be the hardest :P
