Actually it was. When Zephie opened it all it was still Feb 14th in her timezone so it counts. Besides at least an event was held, be thankful that a member of staff took the time to prepare events like this.

Yes, but, the shop was only open for an hour or so. When there were people who were waiting all day to buy stuff. When the shop opened, those few/several/many weren't on.
