So this is something that was found accidentally while farming hedge minions. I was using a lvl29 zerker and noticed that when I moved from an actual afk state(not just setting my afk manually) and attacked instantly I would deal my max damage more often. Latter I was joined by one of my comrades and it was found that the trick was not so much moving from afk, but the combination of moving and instantly attacking. I do not have any evidence that this method results in an increased hit rate, but it is for sure that it will result in higher damage attacks. To test this theory yourself simply place a zerker on a space next to whatever you wish to kill. wait untill you have full stam, move onto the square with the mob and as simultaneously as possible smite it. The result should be that you deal very close to or your max damage on almost every attack performed this way. If this works for you, or you have any comments on this particular "trick", feel free to post them .

This one made me chuckle. Hard to believe the Nightmist forums were once popping off all the time. I would so love to see pictures of the original forums from like 2001. I vaguely remember the cheesy 90s emoticons as well as the black and neon colors.

Nah we had one before that one even. It was REALLY early on. It's a shame that those forums (the one you linked) didn't appear to save the off topic posts. I would love to go find old posts there for nostalgia as that was one of the biggest boards of the time. Although man theres some mega cringe when I look at my old posts from then.
