I've got to the town. Not going to bother going into the mines. You guys with big parties can be left with that job.

It's hard to accomodate for soloists without making the area a walk in the park for alt-users; this is the reason why I opted for the heavy-alt usage area. Being a bit of a soloist myself, I feel a bit guilty that the area is not for the soloists. Sorry.Thank you Crane, even though I would like to bring up something someone posted earlier.

If you are a soloist, I would recommend you ask your clans to give you a guided tour of the area... safety in numbers is really the only way you can survive there.

They worked extremely hard in an area so big, and I feel that it was a great task.
However, I don't see the problem with making an area that can only accomodate one player per computer, making the monsters fit for solo'ists (or very small parties), making a fun boss, and really just making a spot where solo'ists can stand up for themselves without being pummeled by massive amounts of characters packing the best of weapons and stats greatly superior to the solo'ists.
Anyway, on-topic, once again its a wonderful area, and I think it will do Nightmist a lot of good.

I'm sure there would be a way, but that would affect all areas. Is there not a way to modify the current pacifist engine to pretty much make it so that for these squares, the player will not be able to log on multiple characters.

However....isnt there a few places where only a few alts can go at a time?I'm sure there would be a way, but that would affect all areas. Is there not a way to modify the current pacifist engine to pretty much make it so that for these squares, the player will not be able to log on multiple characters.
(Like for instance to secluded park bench area and Aet'thol place)
couldnt that be done for an area to allow only a few alts or 1 even?

People say they want to use one alt for an area, but this is not a one alt game. Use a single alt. There are plenty of ways to go about doing so, try getting ahold of people instead of bitching to Crane about not trying to accomodate a small group when the rest of the game would like to see a new challenge.

Very well done.
As for people crying about one alt, you should have wiped the tears away and got your silly paci arse over there instead of standing around blubbering like cry babies. I wont go into detail... but there are many things to find without even having to kill. You could have even sold information or even just mapped it to sell to your friends. Stop using excuses for been lazy and go do some exploring nubs.
Back to the point, move over Mike.... Cranes the only man I stalk from now on.

There is plenty of both in this area.although alternatives are fun, newer, more diverse items are better to be made.
Someone should make a Failed Ideas thread.
