I'd use black backgrounds, or at least anything other then white.

Also don't think he accepts pictures that aren't self-made, due to copyrights. I've never seen a problem with it since this isn't a paid for service, but John has always been pretty clear on it.

Indeed, images that are copyrighted are not accepted, although a few have slipped the net. I don't know every MMORPG out there, so I'm relying on the players to point out any images that make appearances in said games. Blake, be careful of your image sources... derivative works are still legally shaky.

Public domain images are fine, but those where credit must be given are not recommended. Ideally, Nightmist should use its own exclusive art, as it looks a lot more professional.

I posted a bunch of pictures i did a while back, on another thread. If anyone wants to modify them to fit specific items in nightmist they're more than free to do so.
