hp starting 18 con - around 18 hp - max gain 10 per level

Abilitys
lvl 5 Target - better chance of hitting, but lower damage
lvl 12 Cross Cut - uses two stamina and attacks twice
lvl 20 Deathblow - uses all stamina in one attack to deal a lot of damage
lvl 27 Multi-slash - uses all stamina in consecuative attacks to deal damage to an enemy - rapid attacks lower chance of hitting but raise damage slightly

Same armor as paladin
no helm's except feathered helm
Oak Staff, Quarterstaff, and Swords -
New weapons
lvl 10 weapon Flame Sword Samurai's only - no stat modifiers - 10 base damage

Races
Halfling, Human, Elf, Half-Elf

Stats needed
Strenth, Dextarity, Constitution, Wisdom

Forgive me, but it looks like a cross between a Berserker and a Ranger.

A Fighter closely resembles a real Samurai anyway. And where is the Wakizashi?! A common Samurai weapon that is paired with the Katana.

isnt wakizashi just the japanese word for short sword... i thought it was *shrug* and i said swords, a katana is a type of sword, already exists in the game so i didnt mention it but i didnt know it existed so i put the idea for flame sword lol oh well ill fix it - hm and it does look like a cross between a berserker and a ranger, but thats not the point lol its still a cool class, and who cares about fighters, they aint got any special abilitys so they can burn in hell lol

Wasn't there a topic (by Stigmata, I believe) that was basically pointing out how useless it is to suggest a class? Use that creativity to do something feasable and productive.

Where is the Wakizashi?!  A common Samurai weapon that is paired with the Katana.

Combination of Katana and Wakizashi (or however you spell it) is called the Daisho (spelling open to correction). The two swords existence however, were not reliant upon one another, and it was not uncommon for the two different blades to be used seperately.


In regards to this whole thread itself. a simple

I'd like to see something that wasn't like a fighter, paladin, or ranger.

It simply looks to me like a pally without healing abilitys, with a couple of full stam attacks....why not basically suggest modifying fighters...since that is what this is...not to give them full stam attacks, but possilby the aiming ability and the 2 stam attack.


I see fighters as the most boring crit to use, and it is very poor that rangers get pretty much the same armor as them. They are lacking in quality and come off as being brutes wearing armor and slinging a large axe like stick. I think a fighter is a warrior...a samurai is basically that. I would suggest that rather than inventing a class, you suggest modifications for fighters.
