Wow....why take away all of the good points of the area? The idea of making pacis work together and stuff was great.

People are just being whiny little pacis who won't put in a bit of effort, don't change the area to accomodate THAT.

I mean, they were a little tough, but don't make them completely easy.

We are getting to the third floor slowly, I dunno how much further the lads got after I went to rugby but progress had been made before I left.

To all the paci users complaining, how about you stop moaning and actually help? This is your area yet we have 7 or so paci users who are usually alt users.

Post on here maybe if you want to help, we usually go in a couple of hours time led by MT and the trips will take a few hours as we have to wait for spawns so everyone can move on.

Btw if any paci out there wants to earn a bit of gold, or help out a bit the Mummified Slave Leader? drops a Egyptian Key, the more of these the better and it is a 10 min spawn, im sure you will have no problem getting 5k or so off them on site, or you could help us beat the area and just give to Sleeping/Gaddy/Zipo/Eden/Mono or me. Or one of their clannies to pass on.

As you can imagine it is a pretty tedious task waiting to get 8 or so keys just to go to where the hard stuff begins so any help on that will be great.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The different coloured mummy's spawn rate has been lowered and the heal ability taken away.
The Mummified Slave Leader and Mummified Pharaoh etc. are still the same.

Mummified Priest, Evil Deity and Ganymede are no longer self-healing. However, JLH has warned me that he will delete all drops if things go wrong.

Hmmm... that's a shame - I haven't been hearing much lately about Pacifists trying to get to the mask; don't give up now!

We've taken a break....or at least I know the people I had been going with have.

Sitting on pacis for hours waiting for key bosses to spawn gets annoying, so we're waiting til sometime when we all want to go.

You cast Depurate Undead on a Ganymede damaging it by 103 points of damage.
For releasing the tortured essence of the Ganymede, your Deity grants you 32 mp.
You got 5001 gold pieces.
A Ganymede dropped a Shaman's Mask.
You got a Shaman's Mask.

This topic hasn't been touched for a while, it seems. Is there still interest in the area?

I am a bit surprised and disappointed that there isn't much interest in the Shaman's Masks. Any particular reason?

I would imagine that since JLH changed the Museum, it's that much harder to put most of the Pacifist players off actually going there to make gold, to fund such an item.

I agree with alone, Paci users will be hard pressed to pay the amount of gold it takes to get that far, They cant use the Zuem to make gold anymore to fund the trip that and alot of people play pacis so they dont have to work ith other players that often and just to get to the hall of tresure it took me and eyes working together and leap frogging and even then we barely made enough to tribute.

I originally designed the area so a Pacifist could solo it, but obviously not without difficulty. But JLH and Oracle wanted teamwork to be a part of the quest, and I agreed, although it seems it is hard to create a big enough team to take on the Mummified Pharaoh.

Its not so much that, its the fact that you cant team as a paci, The very idea of the crit is a solo, that is why we are not allowed to party or join clans. To make an area where pacis have to work in teams is stupid. Im sorry but its the truth. How can you work in teams where every square you have to say North south that or you have to follow or to go everyone in the "TEAM" has to buy a key the area will not work if pacis have to work together.

why you even bring this back up? you can ask players in game if the area still has interest. the main problem with the area, from day 1, is the fact pacifists are ment to be a solo class, plain and simple

I brought it up to get answers, and those I have now. Also to perhaps catch the staff's attention that the area isn't working as well as intended...

:P

On topic anyway...
The reason JLH and I decided to make it impossible todo without teamwork was simply because if we make it doable with one crit alone, then people would team up anyway and would be getting the drop daily. The last thing we wanted to do, was to make this one of those areas that people don't need to bother with, as the drop would become buyable cheaply around the game.

How does this differ from any other area - You're simply swapping 10+ crits for 1. I actually find it harder to fight with just one, than with 10 or more (which is the party I'd use to solo a bosss).

I guess every new area is going to take at least say, 20.. 30..? Characters to complete - As that'd equal at least 2 or 3, maybe even 4 actual players?
