I agree so much. I hate people who hate emo when I bet they have barely heard any. I was just like that, brainwashed to hate society by "rockers", then I actually HEARD some and loved it. Coheed, AFI, Glassjaw, Thursday.. judging emo as "whiny" is the worst stereotype ever, it's the SAME thing I was taught by those people. It's not whiny.. "punk" or so it's called such as Simple Plan, Blink 182, and Good Charlotte (Which I admit I like a few songs, but I can't stand the voices, I can't even tell the difference) are more whiny than emo.good point, but i bet that Trice are metal in his opinion lol.
Then what's with the Thrice avatar?Well i personally hate emo, my opinion.

A lot of emo is hardcore, it's called emocore, srythxbye.And did you read what i posted? There is no genre for thrice, it changes everyday, not all their lyrics are emotional, and what is, isn't whiney crap, its more hardcore than anything./t Thrice Anyone tell you Thrice is considered emo?
