Ahh yeah. I hoped to kick the MMORPG habit, but I was sucked into them again. Thankfully most are very casual based now so I don't have to worry about sinking all my time into them anymore. Well depending which I play.

I got GW2 and really enjoyed it, but all my friends quit and went back to WoW so I did too this week. Haven't played it in well over a year so it's fresh again.

I haven't got Torchlight 2 yet, but I still plan to. I want to buy it and Borderlands 2. Both games sound really amazing, but I dunno yet. Torchlight 1 was kind of bland to me, but I imagine this sequel has to be better than D3. Such a shame that game turned out the way it did.

So has anyone else gone back to Diablo 3? I just came back myself last week or so as I had heard the game had been greatly improved and I have to say it really has been. I know many of you guys bought it and quit pretty quickly, but if you guys still have it and never got a refund you should give it another whirl. They have done so much to fix it. When I quit, Inferno difficulty was ridiculous and impossible for new players who just hit 60. Act 1 was doable but Act 2 and especially 3/4 were stupid. The only classes capable of doing it easily were Wizards and Demon Hunters and then they both received gigantic nerfs. Barbarians and Monks could do some of it, but had to wear shields and be 100% defensive. I'm sure you guys remember that if you managed to hit 60 anyways. Well that has all changed. Regular Inferno is now easy as hell, and they've added new difficulties. There's a new system called Monster Power that allows you to increase the difficulty of Inferno (or even Normal-Hell if desired) by 10 increments. And by doing so you also get bonuses such as increased Magic and Gold Find percentages, bonus experience, and chance for bonus items to drop.

There's also another new system introduced called Paragon Levels. Now there's actually a reason to keep playing when you hit level 60, aside from just item farming of course. You continue to gain experience at level 60 and new paragon levels. You don't go past level 60, but you can get to level 100 Paragon. So basically you'd still be level 60 but with 100 Paragon levels. Each level of paragon gives you stats as well. You receive stats such as +1 dex +1 Int +3 Strength etc depending on your class for every level for one example. The best benefit though is you get 3% Gold and Magic Find for every paragon level. This eliminates the need to wear Magic Find items on your gear when you reach a high level.

The last new system they brought in was the ability to create an Infernal Machine that allows you to fight 'uber' versions of bosses together and they drop items that allow you to craft an amazing ring with great stats and 35% increased experience gained when wearing it. This system is much like the counter part of it in D2. You have to collect many keys and such just to open the portal to go to these bosses. And the keys are a chance drop, but the chance is higher depending on what Monster Power you kill them on. At 0 MP the chance is 5% I believe, and at 10 MP the chance is 100%.

And classes have been changed quite a bit from when I quit months ago. Barbarians and Monks for example do not have to wear shields anymore just to survive in Inferno. You no longer have to get every defensive ability either to do Inferno like before. Many abilities for every class have been changed too. Barbarians Whirlwind for example now doesn't cost a boat load of fury to use. Wizards can play different specs and no longer have to use the old default Blizzard/Venom Hydra spec. Witch Doctor pets aren't 100% garbage anymore either from what I can tell. They can actually survive past Nightmare now!

You can get good items off the Auction House for cheap now too for those of you just coming back. I only had 3 mil gold when I came back and I managed to not only buy enough gear for my Barbarian to do Inferno on MP level 3, but enough so my Witch Doctor could also. Was pretty sweet.

But yeah I thought I'd update this topic since I remember quite a many of you guys were playing it before. If anyone comes back feel free to add me or re-add me if I'm no longer on your friends list.

My battletag is Drain#1713 or you can just add my email for real ID which is exorblade@hotmail.com

I'm happy to help any of you guys who need it too or want to play together. And I should add I'm still on the US server, but I'm gonna be making a character to play on the EU server soon too to play with Dev and a couple others who are still playing!

Oh they also added an armory system for D3 like the one in WoW. http://us.battle.net...13/hero/3423590 is my Barb 8)

Haha. Yeah, I did. I just started playing CoD on Xbox 360 and got busy with school. But eventually CoD just wasn't the thing for me. Playing D3 a little more now when I can but idk anyone on it, so everyone should add me. :P

Psycho#1884 is my battletag.

And to be honest, it was really unexpected for the forums to change as far as I know. :P But, I'm open to change and don't mind it. Just taking a little getting used to after using the NM forums the way they looked previously for years. :P

Diablo 3 is coming out on consoles next week. Can't say I'm pumped for that though. It's changed too much for my tastes. Plus most people aren't gonna bother getting it since it's gonna be on the PS4 also so why not just wait if you want to plan it on a console is my opinion.

But anywho, the expansion was announced. Looks fun I will say, and there's been a lot of changes to make the game a lot more like D2 was(IMO). I'm just glad to see Blizzard didn't say fuck it with the game and are actually still trying to improve it.

Do any of you guys still play? I know last I played there were like 5 Nightmist players playing, at least off and on.

So I'm curious, is anyone from NM playing D3 again? I only ask because it seems everyone and their mother has came back to try it out again since the expansion dropped. I've been playing it again and having a blast surprisingly.
