im split between kev (quark) and tadpole. kev dominates the social side, but then tadpole was a blooming good fighting guy. the other areas in which u can be good are practically useless at the end of the game, i.e. if you have 100mil + why are you bothering to fight bosses or map areas its just worthless. so im voting Kev for best player cus i shared with him but tadpole as best fighting guy.

Ok, here's a list I put some thought into. I'm only naming the best in categories, not giving them a ranking. The order they are listed is in NO particular order. My list is biased, because I'm only including people I have personally come in contact with.

Best Dueler (means I've NEVER beaten them):
Sam- I've dueled you so many times, and I just CANT win
Kev (Aquinas)- He owned me hard the first time he even attempted a 3v3

Best Account Value:
Jess- SO many items
Jen- Held top spot in player and clan rankings for AGES

Best All-around (This includes events, boss killing, training, exploration, ability to get gold, etc.)
Alan/Jared (I put them together because in areas that alan may lack, Jared is awesome at, and the other way around as well)
Joe- Great boss killer, explorer, very respected
Gaddy- Shiny crits, kills lots of bosses, don't see many people killing Banshee.

Best Old-School Player:
Tadpole- The first person that really owned me
Quark- he did win TONS of moshes

Kinda late and can't put much more thought into it. Oh, and sorry Rappy, I didn't put you up there because I beat you in a PT before .

Best player ever has to be JLH. Especially on Joe90, fearsome!

Best player I think is Mary/Shera, not because she has the most alts, not because she has the most expensive items, or explores the map the best. Any idiot with too much time can do everything stated in posts above.

However, Mary is possibly the coolest player ever to grace Nightmist, not sure if she's quit now but she pops in from time to time. She always there if you need someone to talk to, she's not two faced. She's honest, and just has an awesome personality.

So my vote goes to Mary/Shera

Would still not be very easy.
If he did it with pots---he used vampire blood potions and nightshades, at least a couple for each crit, and probably had a pally (maybe druid) unless it was while the whole Chronos trip was turned into complete cake. (they had poison dropped to amazingly low ammounts for a while, now it's still only 100, but ya.)

Personally, I doubt it. Kev used around a party of 5-7 crits, and always had clerics with him. To do Chronos with pots would take quite a few more crits because of the large ammount of health you'd have to get back at TK and such.

Yet it seems to be who has the biggest ego, who is prepared to steal, who has no life and sits in front of the computer screen all day, and doesn't go into the sunlight. Then 'talking' the most rubbish about how great they are, and that they can kill everyone, and have the most alts in the game.

Yes I see why they would be the best. Like I said, any idiot with too much time on their hands can become 'great'.

A 'best friend' is someone you can rely on, someone who's always there. Someone who will pick you up, and not knock you down. They are kind, sympathetic, loyal, trustworthy. Most traits that are lacking within the Nightmist community. Not someone who can constantly kill you, steal from you, swear and abuse you.

Best:-

1. Being positive or desirable in nature

2. Having the qualities that are desirable or distinguishing in a particular thing
Serving the desired purpose or end; suitable

3. Not spoiled or ruined: The milk is still good
In excellent condition; sound: a good tooth

4. Superior to the average; satisfactory: a good student

Those 10 definitions of 'best' are from dictionary.com, feel free to check up on them.

I would only call someone a best player if they fitted into almost all of those categories, not just specialised to #4. Which it saddens me to say that only about 1% of Nightmist falls into this category.
