Just delete one of the servers, i don't care which one. But it's stupid because the player-base is split between 2 games. If everybody is playing the same game (or server) then we wouldn't have the issue with a tiny player-base. I remember the days where you could sit covert in the sewers killing people ALL day. Now you have to wait 3 days just to PK 1 person.

Actually the player base is about 8:1 I'd say in favor of 1-Alt

Ultimately though, if given the choice, I don't think players would want to see either server closed. Multi-alt is a little difficult to get a foothold on, but is great for the kind of people who want to work mostly by themselves, while 1-alt is more about making friends and working as a team (although there are still ways to work alone), but it's hard to gain any significant power.

Today, I think if either of the servers are closed, only about half of the players will move back to the other server - the rest will most likely leave in disgust.

Why do 1alt people complain all day long? The time you waste on posting crappy post use it to go kill rats in sewers and make koinz. Seriously, I never see anyone who plays main complain as much as you guys do... just play the game as it is and shhhh it's getting annoying. There are 234234234 posts about what should be changed on 1alt everyone has a different opinion about everything, why can't we all just log on and click things and shut up?

The time you waste to come on the forum and bash someone for trying to post ideas on what they think could help the game you could go kill rats and make koinz. Seriously, I never see anyone who plays main bash the other people who play main as much as you guys do... just play the game and leave the people who care talk on the forums and quit posting it's getting annoying. There are 234234234 post bashing peoples ideas on what could be changed on 1alt everyone has a different bash about everything, why can't we all stay off the forums and leave it to the grown ups.

To everyone else:

The "rivalry" goes too far sometimes and borderlines harassment and people can't "be the bigger person" and let walk away from the incident.. Its a shame most of nm has turned into a high school-like drama fest so bad that the few players we have left are almost always at eachothers throats over some coding on a free game or smoe insult someone flung towards them wether it be in-game or on forums. People don't need to get along but it would be nice to have the playerbase be respectful wether you are a Rival to someone or not... heck if if you hate someone you can be still be respectful.. there is a difference between a healthy rivalry and someone just trying to start drama or degrade someone whenever they get the chance and try to get them to quit. winning a NM arguement with low blows about soemones personal life or getting the last word in isn't worth all the bs its created and it doesn't make anyone look cooler .. it just hurts us all as a playerbase in the long run.

Delete a server.....Why have 2 servers? Why not just make a whole new game and make it 1 alt, or multi-alt, or whatever.

Brand new reset, one server, few changes, probably less maps, old school NM and you'd have more players on and more game time than ever.

1-alt is as close as it can get to old-school Nightmist, minus the small numbers of alts people sometimes used before their computer ran out of resources. The trouble is, Nightmist is a decade-old game and it's showing its age, and it cannot hope to compete directly with the likes of World of Warcraft, so it has to attract and appeal to players in other ways, and Nightmist has largely gone on word of mouth, so get talking people!

As for this particular poll, JLH has already stated that the 1-alt server's alt count will not change.

Just be careful with bumping topics that are 7 months old too.
