Half-orcs face a similar problem. Half-Orcs are naturally slow and clumsy. Even with their enhanced speed and agility, Half-Orc Lycans find it difficult to catch proper prey. I think it goes without saying that a Lycan cannot simply live off of defenceless bunnies alone.
Dwarven Lycans are beginning to suffer the same problems as the Half-Orcs. Even though they tend to be a semi-agile race, it seems that faster and more agile Lycans are stealing their prey.
((I need feed-back on this. I was thinking it over and I'm not sure if Dwaves should be allowed to be Lycans. When I first wrote this class, I was debating whether or not this should happen. Now, I'm not so sure about my choice.))

Next, it is a class because any race (execpt as above) can be afflicted by the curse but then after that they are too blood thirsty to pursue a class. There, happy.

Because of the Lycans' savage nature, they may only party with other 1-alt classes (save Pacifists, of course).

The more "civilized" Lycans (the ones who can speak common-tongue, work together with other people/Lycans, use reason and common sense) are often sired by choice. The majority of Lycans whom roam Nightmist in a civil manner often know the hardships of being a cursed-one. These individuals are often those of hearty-soul and clear mind; they can keep the beast within in-check when it is needed (usually). That's because lycanthrope is just as suited as a race than a class. None of the current races are suited to it, but theres nothing we can do about that.
The foolish people whom seek out Lycans to be "blessed" often let the beast over-take their soul(s). Their minds slowly revert back to primal instincts and urges and they simple run off into the woods, never to be heard of again.

Once again grats on your contribution to the game, really really helps. Ty.Lack of imagination?
/t Squee I like the idea a lot, 1 good post out of 1500 isn't bad . A few things need ironing out but it seems new improvements are being suggested and worked out on this thread. Make another post when you have a final copy please and i'll read again.

Aww, shucks.1 good post out of 1500 isn't bad .
You know, it crosses my mind over and over again; I really should present a finalized copy of this. However, is there really a point in doing so? Sorry if I'm being too cynical but if I did, 99 times out of 100, my attempts would be in vain.
It's rare to see anything major get added into Nightmist. Sure, we get the odd area here and there but how few and far between are those? Now consider the amount of time a staff (probably JLH or Pandilex) would have to commit to put this in - including both programming time and the time used to find every possible thing wrong with this.
Sure, if I get blessings from staff then I'll write up a finalized copy in a flash. But until then, is there really any point?
Note: No, I am not anti-Nightmist and no I'm not trying to hinder progress in this game. Let's just blame my cynical attitude on the 8-month waiting period.
