Look at the games they've played so far too though Mike

26-0 over the Packers (currently 4-6)
34-7 over the Lions (currently 2-8)
19-16 over the Vikings (currently 4-6)
37-6 over the Seahawks (currently 6-4)
40-7 over the Bills (currently 4-6)
24-23 over the Cardinals (currently 2-8)
41-10 over the 49ers (currently 5-5)
13-31 LOSS to the DOLPHINS (currently 4-6)
38-20 over the Giants (currently 6-4)
and 10-0 over the Jets (currently 5-5)

So Mike, your Bears have beaten two teams so far with winning records, both 6-4. Is that a big accomplishment?

And by the way, Yes, the Jets beat the Patriots and the Bears beat the Jets, BUT, the Patriots did beat the Jets earlier in the season (in the second week of the season, 24-17), along with beating the Dolphins, which is the team that beat the Bears.

So dont think that because the Jets beat the Pats once, and you beat the Jets that it means you'll beat the Pats. I cant wait until Tom Brady picks apart the Bears Defense when they face the best team thats on their schedule this year (The Patriots).

Let me update. Since the last time I posted, the Bears have beat

The Vikings 23-13
The Rams 42-27
The Bucs 34-31
and the Lions 26-21

The Bears, at this point, have only beat 2 Teams with winning records.

The Jets, and the Seahawks, both teams that are 8-7.

So the Bears can win with a schedule that faces them against ONLY 3 teams with winning records, and lose to the only one of them that isnt 1 game above .500?

Oh yeah, the Bears are on a roll with one of the EASIEST schedules for a decent team in the NFL this year.

I cant wait to see Rex Grossman in the playoffs, turning the ball over some more, like we all know is going to happen, when he plays a team that has won more then 8 games this year.

Also keep in mind, that in the past few weeks, due to injuries, the Bears defense has slipped from first in the league, down to the fifth in the league.

Sorry Mike. There's always next year. :)

Woodstock just logged on.
Melancholic: Mike
Melancholic (to Woodstock): Do you really think the Bears have accomplished ANYTHING this year?
Woodstock left the game.

Guess that answers that question.

Hey they won yup i will give them credit.. to an extent.. seeing they barely beat the worst seed that shouldn't even have been in.. They better step it up or they have no chance against the Saints.

Pats V Colts...again
Saints V Bears

Bears won't beat Saints,
Colts prolly won't beat Pats, would be nice to see though

hmm saints have no secondary... grossman likes the long passes and completes them well. he is responding great to the playoff pressure. his only interception against seattle came off the hands of his own reciever that just couldnt hold on to it. and wait, i know it, you are going to tell me the saints have an explosive offense. yeh they do. but the bears have explosive defense. what wins games? the bigger offense or the bigger defense? we all know this one, and all you haters just cant give the bears the due credit. shame how the bears are going to teach the saints what their offense really is.

That short pass to Bush in the NFC Champs game was pretty cool though.
