Webbed Gloves:
Armor Base: Same as Spider Gaunts
Modifyer: Same as Spider Gaunts (+1 dex)
Description -
Made entirely from an amazingly strong form of purple webbing, these delicate gloves glow with majesty at the hint of any breeze. Sporting a moist sheen, the gloves give off an air of majesty and cunning.

Ok well that was remarkably easy, I was expecting that I'd need to rewrite the latter half of the description, however, simply removing the word 'feminine' made my life somewhat easier.

I really like that idea, but what 3 types of gaunts would it drop?I'd wear webbed gloves, it's not like they're truely femine even as long as the desc. is changed to not say they are. Having the spider king drop 3 differently named gauntlets, all of the same stats and everything, would be very nice.
obviously dex, wis, and maybe char?

I suppose if nothing else, you could simply add a gender twist to the Spider Gaunts. The male being Spider Gaunts, the female being:
I kinda liked the idea of there being spider gloves and webbed gloves, different for males and females.
Gender coded weapons and armor would be very interesting i think, and could add a very nifty effect to the game.
"But what about the cross dressers?!"
"theres no room for them in the game" (actually not. Its just not practical to encorperate crossdressing into an online game...)
But yes. I vote that we get some gender specific weapons and armor items, drops, etc. .
Like... whether it be armors/weapons with a lower base damage, or armor base, but higher stam regen, or something else for women. (Not to imply anything negative about women, but a womans item would be lighter, and smaller), or if they are just described as femme, or lighter, or smaller, I think gender specific items would be a nice addition to the game. Though i'm not at all sure if this is possible, or even if it already may exist.
This was a bit of a ramble. Sorry. x.x
What the what?

As a matter of fact almost every guy on my friendlist had their main equiped with the dress and other generally female equipment that were added to the Nightmist market.
Yes, I can see gender specific weapons and armor being added making the game more..well...w/e you want to call it, but I don't really see a need to make it so that males/females cannot equip either set of equiment because there is no true reason or argument as to why players shouldn't be able to wear both. (note that i say shouldn't not couldn't...there is no "couldn't" in a game).
I like the idea of variety more than to make things any type of segregation or limitation.

Although my who cares arguement could go both ways... I guess you could let female characters wear male equipment, and visa versa... But Like I said, I dont really care... heh
Although restricted gender specific armor would be... Odd... And would make for odd areas too... *Imagine an area for only female rangers... and the drop is armor or something... Just.... weird*
Anywho... I think what I was trying to say, Is.... Ah crap...

Although, if a male got spider guantlets and traded it to a female would is STAY spider guantlets or become webbed gloves? I think thats the real question.
P.S: If gender equipment came in, I have finally decided my position on the matter is that I dont think it should be restricted.

Arachnid Gloves
Or
Arachnid Cuffs
Or
Widow Gloves
--
If not, can you clarify what exactly it is they don't like about the name. Is it the use of the world 'gloves' or 'webbed'?
Edit: Widow obviously being derived from the black widow spider.

If I remember I'll do descs. for them later when I've got time (at lunch atm from school).
Might look in the alternate items section to look for a couple of ideas, most of those suggestions are pretty good.
Also could make it .25 for a diff. enchanted bow and .25 for a different type of fireleaf armor. (a druid/ranger type one)

Mages and clerics should not wield a weapon that strong simply due to the fact that mages do not use attacks
I disagree with this. I think that clerics and mages should have the option to use normal attacks, even if they don't do much damage.
I agree with druids not being able to use it... simply because it would make them even more over powered.
You do need to remember though that it has a 1/1000 chance of dropping, and isn't sold in shops (at least, I don't think it should be). That means there won't be many out, so only a few mages/clerics would have it.

Clerics, I've had mine with Jagged Lance hit a zerker for 62. (hance and holy might). I think giving them a base greater than they already have availible would make them too powerful with their normal attacks.
Base damage: 21, and Magical.
As angelic scepter sounds fine to me.
Especially when you consider the highest base for ranger's actual use in game is 21 and magical.

Scroll of Time Stop
This spell is a very potent spell used by mages who have mastered time. It cannot be easily obtained since its secrets are guarded by its users.
Time mage drop, it stops monsters from attacking you for a short time, 0-5+int seconds maybe. It would be an alternate drop for the time mage.
EDIT: forgot other stats, lvl 30, and costs 50 mana.

Base damage: 4, Can be used by: mages, Description: A long crystal shard chipped from the crystal giant., Level needed to equip it: 25, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 1, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: .
10% drop rate on crystal giant. reason i thought of this was because he has such a high resistance to magic, i take that has him being an intelligent being which is given to you slightly by weilding his, er, skin?

personally i was thinking 2 with a 5% drop rate, but thats all up to staffCould the intellegence modifier be (maybe) 2 or 3? 1 point above or below your current intellegence (as it stands) doesn't modify your damage noticably.
