Yes it is Chase, backbone was an exageration. What I meant was whenever someone needed something Chris and I were always there. I was a loyal member there. But then my friend made an unsuccessful clan so I tried to help him out.

Apparantly Jen doesn't want me back anymore.

Ya i wanted 2 join but ... it's not 2 be, but you have to give tr (+jen) the credit they deserve, when other clans have folded for what ever reason (cdlc - the original, dc, etc ..) tr has been the only clan to remain stable at the top of the rankings, everyone might despise tr, but at the end of the day tr is one of the few clans that have stuck it out through everything, and i'm sure everyone else will have to follow jen's lead to build a sucessful clan.

True, but in fairness to TR - it's alot harder to maintain a clan of that size for so long, and although draco have a few members now, originally they had a very small select group of friends (may 5 people?) that would have made keeping the clan a lot easier.

There is no "backbone" of TR...what i meant to u chase was that we helped alot at that time...but alot of the clan did...if anything give jen the credit for keeping clan together. Also Mary and Mike

your all soft like melted butter, you guys need to start running around pk'ing. everyone i talk to about you guys are like 'they b soft yo' and 'whos tr, they soft' so you guys need to get back out there and strike fear into the hearts of everyone again and be the top clan again, rather then just having the biggest house

That's assuming any of us have anything to prove to anyone. Besides have you tried pking lately? 99% of the people run once you start attacking them. I know a number of people that do not pk nearly as much as they used to because of that.

seriously, the only way to pk nemore is to use thieves and try to pop as many chars as u can before they run, the reason for that is that basically noone is gonna stay and fight when 5 arch rangers/zerkers or nething else for that matter pop into square. Everyone just runs nemore, it's taken all the fun outa pking.

Chris is the only person who has come remotely close to a correct assumption. Jen is the backbone of the clan, I'm sure the current members feel the same, if it wasn't for her management the clan would possibly have disbanded once upon a time.

They are also a few old players, who have been together for a long time. So they have bonded, remaining close, and are glad to help one another whenever needed. Those who doubt, need to experience this. Sure the clan has had its fair share of drama, but is usually delt with rapidly.

what does it matter if they run? ofcourse people are going to run, people are generally smarter now. that does keep creme or animosity from pking. get some friggin motivation, if you dont wanna pk because they run then your one lazy group of people.

fun? what the hell is fun about killing a bunch of lvl 20's with your arches while they stand there? fun is running after someone laughing at them when they page you cussing at you from thier locals, now thats fun.

now there's some enthusiasm i miss about you guys, but i think your fairl missing the point. i rememebr when you took 4 of my experts out with your main and a cleric. now thats what you need to go out and do, start pkj'ing people again like that, now get out there.

No true pking is a fair fight making use of your char's abilities to the fullest in a fair and even fight. Or having covert theives while training newbs and making sure the newb attackers learn that it is annoying.

Pking is using one character, and gathering a bunch of friends up to go ly waste to the countryside.

Rape on the other hand is logging on 5 thieves/rangers/zerks and a cleric and wasting anything that walks on the square.

As for the running part of it, well it's kinda hard to pk people when you go into the same square they are in and they run back to town or log off. I DID NOT say that anyone does not pk just because people run.

Do you really sit around on nm contemplating the pking practices of our clan? If I want to pk I do, not because you or anyone else like you tells me that I NEED to because the clan "needs" to pk more.

lol. i use to look up to your guys. id get pk'd 3 or 4 times a day, now i havent even seen one of you outside of nightmist for like 4 months. maybe your going on large quests, maybe your too busy to pk me anymore, but who am i supposed to look up to now? i miss getiing pk'd by the best of the best, now creme has the tag, and they seem to be lightweight living up to it. :sniffle: where's the old terrifying tr that use to strike fear into peoples hearts?

I'd hate to agree with that, but, I must. I've been a off/on player since old map. I always though of 'TR' as the 'Bad Boys' of Nightmist. Everytime I saw a TR pop up on the square as me I would say 'Plz Don't Pk ME!' knowing it wouldn't work, I always got pked. Now it seems when I say 'Plz Don't PK me!' they say okay and walk off. You can ask some of your members. I'm sure they've pked me at some point i'm the guy that's like 'So your pking me?' and I just sit there and take the beating. I'm fun to pk.. But that's not the point. I think TR needs to go around and strike fear in everybody again..
