Killed with Titania. No drop. Annoyingly, I took 4 Nightshade Elixirs between Titania and Electron, but was still killed. When I returned, I killed the Elder Treant on the very first round... just three strikes from Titania's Ceramic Javelin. With a third Druid, I figure I can do this fight without dying.

Cyrex rapidly fired at a Banshee with his Enchanted Bow. releasing her tormented soul. (Followed by an absolutely deafening scream! Turn sound on when you venture that way!)

It took two trips to the Banshee, because the first time I couldn't do enough damage and then I ran out of mana. I was more prepared when I came up the second time, with better macros, Cyrex (who was killed at the Giant Chameleon) and more mana... no drop of course, and no Bolted Chest, but I proved to the Banshee that she cannot beat the Crane!

ADDENDUM: Mages can do fairly good damage against the Water Wraith, for those complaining about monsters having high Wisdom; I was hitting for 50s with Blast on a level 28 mage (I use that over Beam to conserve mana).

ADDENDUM DUO: Levelled a Ranger too, Santana - only has 17 Constitution though: You have increased to level 32, and gained 17 hp.

Must I say which crit got the kill? P.S. My Druids had just died and returned to the fight, and were still feeling the effects of some buffs that Crane and Sonar (my main Cleric) had put upon them before re-entering the heart of the Triken Forest, hence the exorbitant damage.

when i run 20 and im running about, i get the killshot - memo it to a crit so its saved in memo history / memo sent history, then i post it on the forum lol.

haha, this wouldve been colour if i could figure out how to put colours in straight from the NM server if you get me, instead of having to write out the colour tags all the time, but basically i set up uber macros on my zerkers from f1-f4 to switch one crowbar between the lot of them haha. it was fun <3

I can't figure out the coloring either. I thought it'd be pasted into another program, and then force the program to show color coding, but I cannot find where to make wordpad, textpad, or MS-Word 2007 show the formatting, which is annoying.

I did copy your post, and look at the colouring - and it did look like handwritten code, but I remember a while back when you could paste it into the full reply and it came up with the covers, I thought they might've been some kind of setting you had to check or uncheck.

Well.. I was hoping there would be some kind of setting

To be able to post in the colours of the game. Simply press the button with the two arrows in a circular motion on the top right of the text editor. That way you'll switch editor and can copy/paste straight from game into forums and keep the colours.

Took me a while to figure out (was copy pasting into word..then saving the word file in differnt extensions, which i then opened in notepad and messing with the source code etc) Kinda sucks finding out it was this easy...

I managed to do it without dying this time, thanks to strategic use of morph and that Vampire Blood Potion I obtained from the Winged Vampire earlier. Shame it didn't drop, but plenty of experience gained!

I tried doing as you advised, Angelus, but it still copied as raw text without the formatting.

POST SCRIPTUM: The Crystal Giant is in, but I'm sick of fighting that boss; saying that, since I was the only person online at the time of fighting the Elder Treant, it will probably be around for a while!

Credenza was not in, as usual - I have yet to kill that 'boss', but I am determined to; therefore I have logged my party off nearby. Saying that though, last time I tried, I lost too many crits and I could not kill the three guardian Drow Templar.

It also pays to spy ahead in that area, and not run blindly onto a square with one of these lurking on it - thankfully Crane has 458 HP:

There are quite a few things about Tirantek that I wish I did differently. I did list some suggestions once, primarily to stop Pacifists fishing for the Dwarven Pickaxe and acting as checkers, but Trevayne said no, so it stays as it is unfortunately.

Had to abandon the Credenza - I had checked four times over about 16 hours and it was never in, and the checking attempts (since I had to use my party that was logged a few squares away) resulted in running out of mana, plus I had already lost three crits, including a Cleric, to Drow Rogues. Still, I made enough gold to make up for the value of the Seal of Absence, and plenty of experience gained. And then Titania got the drop on the Drow Archmage:

To be honest, I do not think I will stand much chance at killing the Credenza. I do not have enough crits to station parties all around the realm, nor do I have the Pacifists to check the Credenza, which I consider cheating anyway but there is nothing I can do about it and no-one wants it fixed anyway. So take what I say and use it to accuse me of being a pathetic milksop; I'll leave the Credenza to the big boys.
