I really don't see how people can say this changes the economy. Characters, Items, Gold.. whatever only changes owners, like other people have said, it's not adding to the ecnomy.

People still have to train those characters, hunt for those items and farm for that gold. If both people are agreeable and the person has the money to waste, then in my opinion, let it be.

Although money goes soo fast.. The 200$ rich bought my RB/ACC for went for like.. one months car insurance and gas.. gg =/

it doesn't screw up the nm eonomy it screws up the powerstructure. powershould be obtained by hard work not by spending alot of money.

If someone has the money to buy their way to the top, more power to them.

Anyway, what power strugle? Nearly everyone in the game has XX archs and continue to buiild up.

I can agree the game once had a power strugle, but now I really don't think it does to be honest.

"omfgzor i'm going to over jen who has a kabillion gold and another 9xkabillion gold if she sold the TR house (although I doubt she ever would.. shrugs) + probably a few six stats, many i five stats i assume and lots of items she can sell if someone over takes her."

yes but these ppl worked for their stuff and if you buy it, it would all be too easy and seriously unfair to other players that just can't afford it. ia gree with you that there are too many archies and stuff ingame. i just can't understand why you can't see how unfair this would be towards poor ppl.

Life isnt fair.

To be honest, who would get more respect in the game, someone who played the game and trained all of his arch characters himself and has a decent amount of gold and items.

or...

Someone who is a total nub who paid a hefty fee to get a bunch of perfect characters and cobalts etc..

Simple question, easy answer.. What do characters and items meant soo much for? If someone wants to waste cash, let them.

If this was put in some of the freaks who play this game like it's their life allready will be out robbing banks, or donating at banks, if you get my drift.
I wouldn't mind stabbing you in the face, if that's cool with you?

once you have power and keep it ppl will forget about how you got that power. i am one of the few maybe even the only person that trained and rolled all of his crits and has reasonable power and nobody respects me :P

Ive rolled and trained all my crits myself. I bought only 1 crit. I have 500k that ive made from just training. Let alone selling stuff. Ive done everything on my own and people dont even acknowledge my presence at SGh.

oh well thats night mist for you.

If JLH makes it p2p, if it was reasonable i would pay it. Im 18 about to go to college so all my money is in that right now. But if it was a reasonable price i would pay. ANd buying/selling weapons/crits for iRL money seems to be fair. As long as JLH/Pandilex know about the trade and possibly get thier cut.

You have to understand, THIS ALREADY HAPPENS. People sell and trade their stuff, but they keep it backhanded to keep from getting perm bans. (or so I hear quite a bit--not specifically but that it happens.)

It would simply be changing it to a way that would make JLH and Pandi able to monitor the actions and gain a bit of real money off of them. (could still do so with game-to-game things, one person or both persons would need to put forth gold and the NM stuff would be given to JLH/Pandilex--then confirmed by the person giving NM stuff---then JLH could hand it to the other person)...There are slight bugs to doing it this way, but all in all I think it'd be controlable.

Eitherway, the person with the Nightmist stuff doesn't have to sell their stuff for real money. So it's not like every noob with cash is going to be able to get a heads up on a whole bunch of stuff because people in Nightmist aren't always going to sell all of their stuff.

I hope this makes the idea make more sense or seem less unfair. Though I know you, Jurian, aren't some idiot and probably realize most of this, I figured I'd see if I could point them out for others who have the same worries as you.
I agree some noob getting a lot of arches is annoying, but it doesn't change my account or anything. I wouldn't be one to sell my stuff for real money...I don't think.

Earlier people said they had problems with the rich people becoming wealthy ingame overnight, but would it solve it if :

1. ) We put a limit on trades...like only being able to buy a certain amount of something...
e.g. I try to buy too many things, "You already did your limit for the month" or something?

2. ) You couldn't buy things Via Paypal if you already have a really nice account, like if you have 20 archies, and wanna buy 5 more...you couldn't, but if you had 1, and wanted to buy like 3, you could?

I like # 1 better, but just some ideas I came up with while reading the 1st post be Despair...

Buying your way to the top doesn't get my support.
People who have played the game for less than an hour and buy their way up and nock the number 1 player off the top and therefore unbalance/corrupt the -flow- of the game don't have my support.
Gaining money for something which was all made by JLH and Pandilex, while they are losing money running it doesn't have my support.

Giving them a cut of your wallet to achieve all of the above still doesn't justify it in my opinion and does not get my support.

in my openion it really doesnt matter infact I almost support it lol

so many of you say "buy your way to the top"

but you cant buy your way to no1 if people arent selling their items/crits can you ?

speed and knowing how to use your items/crits is where its at otherwise you just have alot of abras running around and in which case the prob fixes itself

my 2 cents lol

It's ironic that people even consider spending rl money to get "better" in a game. Would you pay rl cash to get a better start at Monopoly? Why even bother playing then? Isn't training an essential part of the game? We always hear about people who have nothing but arches getting bored because they have nothing else to accomplish, some of them even selling all their arches and starting over with millions of gold just to stop themselves from being bored. If you spend rl cash on an account full of arches isn't it buying boredom?
