I once played fanatically, like i do nightmist now, a game called dransik (classik) and as someone might now it went p2p and eventually they gave up on it.
So there i was, very hooked on an massively multiplayer online rp game which no longer existed, so i started to look around the net for another mmorpg to satisfy my lust for the genre and to take away my boredom and as it turned out i found nightmist at a gaming site which listed many online games like this one, so i tried it out, was a bit lost at first but then got a hang of it and here i am enjoying the game we all love.

Not an interesting story here. Friend (quit before reset) showed it to me in winter of '01. I introduced the game to Kevin (Disjunction), but of course he's not here to admit that.

i use to play another online game,got bored with it,one of my friends on there told me to d/l this new game,so i did,he helped me a bit then he got bored,but i played on,got to lvl 26 before the arena exp was halved.so ive been playing since about march 2001.

Was looking for freebie games to d/l and I came across this, my 1st experience of a mud about 2 years ago, but it looked like too much hard work and left it. But I kept coming across different muds and got more and more into them and I was wondering what the name of the game I had 1st come across was and then accidently found NM again.

Took me a while to get the hang of it but eventually got some decent crits together, my tag was Biscuit Master and some alts were Wafer, Digestive, Hob_Nob etc. but I lent and got jacked which soured it for me and I deleted it from my puter.

But just couldn't shake it and started playing again about 4 months ago.

Am a bit older and wiser now and I will share but if I get jacked I wont let it get to me 'cas its not me who is losing out.

I was looking at porn and came across a pic of Mike (Deimos) and Joe (For_saken) in a somewhat comprimising position. I'm no cigarette but these guys were chair! Well I looked at their details and it said they played this game and then I just had to meet them.

Arena xp wasn't halved during oldmist. Did you mean '02?

if any of you remember Gasoline before he was Gasoline he was Palenyte or something like that. well he got my IRL BF hooked on the game and he in turn got me hooked. Marty (Gasoline) and my ex-Bf (Reddragon) have quit playing the game but i cant seem to get away and i keep playing cause it keeps me in touch with the people i love Maharet and Shadow Master. and Vex when hes on.

i was on the internet playing Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, when all of a sudden my friend ask me to try out this game and gave the website, www.nightmist-online.co.uk.... i was skeptical, because he played some pretty lame games before, so i decided to give it a try-see. well after the first 5 minutes of playing, it turned into and hour, and soon it was 3 hours. All of a sudden i have a rush of adrenaline in my body, as though i was on crack, and i kept playing for 2 days straight, and I kept playing 8 hours a day and then sleep, for about 3 month. then i have to go to reality rehab, because nightmist has tooken over my mind. lol... but i came back and introduce a few of my friend to the game, darkon and spekkio. and i shall continue to play!

I used to see Tadpole/Chris playing this gay game, and after not playing football or nething with us for like a month, i decided to try it out, and then i liked it (big suprise).. So we showed other ppl in the neighborhood it, and then u had Quartz, Fearless, Allstar, Magoo, Misk/Cor, Hyndel and many others playing..

Ive said it before, me and chris going to hell for ruining their teenage lives ^.^

Me and Paul (Bowlin_Iii) and Brandon(Pandora_Pacifist) are really good friends irl. After Brsandon told Paul about Nightmist he went up to me and said "Dude, me and Paul pklay this awesome game called Nightmist. You should try it!" So, I downloaded it and got addicted in the first 5 minutes... maybe there is crack in the server...

I used to play an old game called Realms of Arkania - Blade of Destiny. Stopped playing it and uninstalled it, my CD stuffed up somehow when i reinstalled it not long ago. I searched for it online 2 download and came across NM.

Well, about 3 1/2 - 4 years ago now, i was going to be making a site or something, and i was looking on Game Archives for some decent games to put on it. I was downloading alot of games and trying them out, and i came across nightmist, thought it looked crap, but downloaded it because of curiosity on what it could be. I started to play for a few minutes, and thought it was interesting so i started to learn how to play.

and here i am 3-4 years later, wondering what the hell happened to this place

i was AIM away message reading, and i read this person who i have on my list for no good reason, one of those people whom you never talk to, and her message said "away playing nightmist". i thought, what the hell is nightmist? looked it up, read the description, then thought "what the hell is a MUD?" being so mooseing curious i checked it out. i got on, and the love/hate relationship began.
