Just substitute curses with the word "moose" its easily understandable by the mature end of the playerbase and relatively harmless to the immature <younger> members of the playerbase... pandi had us do this in Dynasty, i thought it was a good idea, so i figured id share..

if people try to get around a filter, then they really need to grow up and get a life. some people just prefer to get the pleasure out of typing foul language, whatever the output is lol. I'm not against it personally, but as a roleplaying/adventure game there really isn't any need for such harsh words.

A filter SHOULD be put in, it will prevent most of the foul language used, and if anybody tries to get around it then they're pretty pathetic, and it wouldn't take 5 minutes to email you so you can deal with it properly

wtf? Personally I'll ban anyone who is reported to me swearing in general chat and warn them in any other chat. If that's being bias then so be it. Who the person is doesn't make a blind bit of difference. Why would it? I can't ban admins but I'll ban anyone else except those 2 admin characters in the way I just stated.

You can't sit there and see one person get banned and not another and call us bias. Report it!

I don't see where the problem is. Don't swear its simple. Swearing just shows a complete and utter lack of imagination since you can't come up with any other word to use. I've seen people banned all the time for swearing. I've watched Pandilex ban at least 4 people in the last few days for swearing. Don't do it and the game will be more enjoyable.
