Okay, it's about time I had my say in this. I aborted a player's mosh because they got virtually the whole command wrong and there was no way they were going to get it right without my intervention - even when I told him what to type he was still very unsure (the class restriction caused the most problems). Hopefully now he knows roughly what to type in and I won't have to give advice in future.

And Asylum, you know very well why I snapped at you... and I quote "thats what ur for"... I am not the players' servant and it is not the players' place to tell me what I am to be or to do for them.

According to JLH's post, if you screw up there's no command for you to fix it, so be careful. If there was a command then some noob would end up spamming with most starts and stops.

If you DO screw up, there's nothing to stop staff from helping you out themselves. That's what they're there for.

For them to actually offer to help you should be thanking them, not scorning them.

I'm gonna have to agree with Pandi and Crane on this one. I haven't had many dealings with Simon so i'm not sure what he's like, as for Crane, he is a good staffer as long as you aren't overbearing or pushy when asking for his help. Staff is not here for your abuse or amusement. They are here to help, and when they are approached in an appropriate manner they do exactly that. So maybe next time take into consideration the fact that the staff in this game are volunteers, trying to make the game better. But, when you get people telling them that's what they are here for, to be pushed around and take orders from little kids, they won't help.
