funny thing, your opinion doesnt matter, for a few reasonsI've been here going on almost 4 years. I have no desire what so ever to create a new area. I am in no way jealous of Crane getting a staff position. What I am tho is upset that he comes in playing a puzzy azz paci and kisses enough ass over his year here to get a staff job when players like Stigmata, Gaddy, and others have constently been overlooked and have contributed much more to the game.
You are just a moron
Yeah we didn't like you then either. Thanks guys.
*ponders* I'm sensing a similar reception to when I was first made a forum moderator.
Is it me or does anyway else find it strange that Crane created the new area with a monster named "Maneater"
*Momba opens the closet door for Crane"
Crane spent god knows how many hours on that area, how many hours you spent on areas?
think...
think hard...
Exactly, your just a moosing moron whos just jealous that someone got a staff job. so think before you post and think about all the comittment he spent in this game, i like crane because he just gets his head down and does what he wants to do, he dosn't goes and pk someone and goes "kkthxbai" in fact he dosn't pk.
All the best to Crane!
Who cares how much time he spent on the area. Do you realize that in Gaddy's 4 years here how much he has contributed? How many suggestions he has made that were implemented into the game? Take your candy azz down to the suggestion or improvement forums with a pencil and paper and start counting.
So yeah I am a little upset that Paci Master was given a staff job. There are many much more deserving and trustworthy people who have been passed over for a staff position.
A. Because it sucks and you are choosing the wrong place to express it.
B. You are not staff and do NOT have the knowledge of who should/would be the best person to choose for a staff position.
C. Your just bitter and transparent.
Congrats to Crane, I think the fact that 99% of the playerbase loves the new area and basically lives there is a testament to the fact that he deserves the position. Anyone can come up with brilliant ideas about how the game should work....its those who put in the time and effort to make these things happen that are deserving of positions like this. Not those who clog the forums with their flaming and garbage, nor those who think their ideas are 100% superior to everyone elses and constantly question the decisions of the staff that currently run this game. I dont have to go into details. You know what im saying.

i agreeGaddy is a close friend of mine...I know he's made a lot of suggestions, and I personally think he would do ok as a staff member, I believe Crane is better qualified. He made the biggest area in-game, as well as 3 areas in the Land of the Dead. His areas are filled with lots of alternate items, and a few unique items. Theres so many puzzles in Tirantek, no one is even CLOSE to finishing it.
gratz on becomeing staff btw

Not to get involved in a petty slagging match, but I'm afraid your terribly misguided. Momba has been a pretty solid member of the Nightmist community over several years and, just like 99% of Nightmists historical elite, has had significant effect on the evolution of the game. Everyone who has ever logged in has made a difference, especially those who are still around after such a significant amount of time. In the far too large amount of time I've known Momba, he has (on most occasions) proved to be a productive community member with a fair and reasonable opinion during the production of the game. That is to say, he does have a reasonable understanding from a less informed (but no less important) non-staff point of view, that to the chagrin of many others, may have some new and fresh lines of evolution for the game. Finally, Momba, while perhaps a little jaded over his stay in Nightmist is far from the twisted "bitter and transparent" monster you make him out to be. If you'd been paying any attention to our community over the measure of time you've spent with us, you'd never have been so naive as to find yourself needing to retract that statement. Yes, occasionally Momba can be a dash of a bell ringer or alarmist, but Momba questions each decision and modification to the game with an unbiased scrutiny that others often fear to adopt for fear of putting themselves into a less than utopian relationship with current staff and/or admin....funny thing, your opinion doesnt matter, for a few reasons

Please, know your Nightmist community history before you attempt to condemn others for their concerns over the game.
Crane, as you know, I am greener than a delicious cucumber with jealousy, but I'm sure you'll help to grow a game with a healthy balance for those that wish to abuse alts, and those who enjoy playing a single or few crits at a time.
Good luck
~Deval.

I have been racking my brain for days trying to come up with a way to express my feelings on what was said about Momba. It was so immature as to attack him for having a difference of opinion, that I just couldn't find the proper words.
My congratulations to Crane for trying to make this version of NM a better place, and may you not go down the path of previous Staff members.
