Even though I wasn't able to fully participate in the combat or trail, I say it was a fine idea, not to mention brilliant, It's the best thing that's happened in Nightmist, yet

With that many crits on a square you'd think people would keep talking in general chat to a minium and yells to staff at 0... lol although that's sort of thinking in a perfect world =)
2 thumbs up to staff not only for the event but for the patience you showed during this event... it's just a shame people can't be a little more considerate. I usually don't join in many events but the war was a nice change of pace....
Thanks a bunch =)

Considering now that Arilin is being invaded by Harabecan forces, the Resistance will probably live up to its name now and resist occupation. Next quest could be to save Arilin from occupation, before it becomes desolate like Jahanna. Crumbs, is this sounding like Iraq and the USA now?

I watched the staffers spin in circles and I wouldn't be surprised if they all need a one week vacation after this event. Stotic and Zephie were more than busy trying to get it all set up, and personally, the way some players were acting, I would have lost my patience had I been in their shoes, and booted some folks off the game.
I am sure that everyone with common sense was able to expect at least some lag in an event this big (I remember the trip to the Vinewhip Troll, 40+ people in one square are lag no matter what). Staff did a wonderful job, well organized and with a patience that seemed almost godlike.
I wish I could say that about the players too though. Talking in a square with more than 40 people causes plenty of lag. If talking is disabled, common sense should tell those players who first complained about lag not to yell instead then, or continue to emote or look around.
All in all, I can only say that staff did a wonderful job. Maybe next time the players will too.
