Yes, work on how you type things out, we don't all think on the same line that you do, and just that post took me like, three times longer to comprehend than it should of.

The difference between good grammar and bad grammar is simply time. Take those extra 5 seconds to put in periods, capitals, quotation marks, etc.

However, RP'ing isn't just about grammar. To be good at it, you need a good imagination.

If you enjoy writing, you'll most likely enjoy RP'ing. However, that's not to say that if you dislike writing essays and short stories, you'll dislike RP'ing. In fact, in some cases, it's quite the opposite.

Heh sorry about the grammer I honestly wish I could always speak, I mostly convey what I am trying to say wth tone of voice and gestures etc and that is hard on Nightmist. Sorry. That goes back to this little disgraphia thingy I got meaning I am crap at writing. I hate writing stories and alot of other stuff even drama improve despite the fact that I love RP, I dunno. I have never seen many people RP before simply because I have not seen much other than hack and slashers and power gamers who say "I go over here and chop off his head, hey I said what my char did", so I am honoured when that is your comments, /me bows to Squee.

My rp has been laughed at once in my time and that was because I was saying that my theif opened a portal to the real world and transfered his consiouness to my own (irl me) and that was laughed at by another RPer. Lol I do some kinda funny stuff so yeah it is laughed at but I usually RP in a mild way or RP with other RPers, through DH members have yelled at me for rping (DH is mostly good just watch out for Crusher).

try to improve on your grammar.

Squee, you are a man after my own heart.
A good post is like a miniskirt: short enough to pertain interest and long enough to cover the subject.

anyway, i am dying for SOMEBODY to join in with my story on the Qbite forums. SO, here is a link to my story, anybody that is good at RP, try and continue it for me. I wanted it to be a community story that we could build together.

Man thats one tricky little rule that your story has... I've already scrapped a post four times :)

gimme time though... I may not be brilliant at rp-ing, but I'll be over there, attempting to post as soon as I can get this near present tense thing sorted

Note that you don't have to speak in shakespearian terms. Pretend you are writing down your experience in a note book while doing whatever it is you are doing in your mind.

I think RP'ing is rather odd. I know I'd suck at it.. even if I tried.. I'm not creative like that.. but, seeing other people do it... o.O

It is not wierd it is play acting without a script using a personality that you created in a world that is created in the mind of the starter of the RP. It is a very fun way of playing games, not dissing hack and slash just saying it is not funny nor bad (unless it is meant to be humorous) but quite fun.

You all know it's totally funnest RP'ing a character like an Orc.

RP'er: Greeting my Orcish comrade.

Deval: ME SMASH!

RP'er: My dear companion, I must protest to you beating me over the head with my own dismembered arm.

Deval: SQUISHY GO DEAD NOW.

*RP'er sighs*

RP'er: Honestly, why do I bother?

Deval: STOP SMASH NOW??... SMASH SQUISHY!

The RPer in that situation was acctually the worse RPer since he was not taking your character as is, if you are going to RP you must accept the char the person is playing.

Check your thespian stylings. What you said there doesn't make too much sense.
