lol, my brother wanted to apply to beta test it, but it was Americans onlyIt probably is, seems like that happens often.
Oh yeah, my friend beta tests WoW... Lucky B*stard
He has applied to beta test Dragon Empires though, and I expect he'll get in. He's tested several other games, like Asherons call 2. I'm thinking about getting DE instead, but it all depends on:
1. Which is out first.
2. Which is the cheapest.
3. If DE is actually any good
I think you're right though... most games seem to come out in America earlier. I think it's due for release in augest in the UK.

Regarding the playerbase; I've been logging on a little bit more recently and the general attitude of the players is disgusting. The game which I'd like to think I helped contribute to (we all did.. in the form of suggestions) in some way to get to the state it's in today, is now overrun by a horde of weenies, each using an army of alts and acting as if they were gods. I'm not saying all the players are like this, but the 'good players' are far outnumbered by the bad.
I'm getting slightly off topic now, but anyway. My vote is based on the fact that the game has great potential if it can get beyond the horrible playerbase that plagues it, and that is why my vote goes for 'in the future'.

I start playing NM in end of 2001 (?) and do not know what NM was before that. I remember Death who hunting me in sewers (no level cap).

But yeah, there is WAAAAAAY to much drama involved in a game, that frankly, shouldn't involve drama. "So and so stole my account." "Well so and so stole my clan" You wanna know how to solve that?

almost there.....
STOP GIVING OUT YOUR PASSWORD! I'm sure JLH has better things to do than figure out all your little high-school drama crap. And I don't wanna hear about it, i get enough High school drama in high school.

I have played all kinds of pacifists. My feelings aren't because I am bored with them. I just this this class has really screwed the game up.

You people are amazingly adept at just dismissing what you do not like.

but what i miss the most is the fact that very few people had chips on their shoulder, and it didn't seem like anyone had anything to prove as much as they do now. oh yeah, and less hitting and running.
but i got hopes for the future, they're really interesting mods being done (wait little while after pked for one). they're still some cool kids out there, not quite as cool as the clans we were all part of, but it's getting there. oh yeah, lay off tienno, he's a cool cat. the mafia was oodles fun, as were others.
i see the major problem ppl have with nm is other players. how's this for a solution: stop being a turnip to people, and maybe you'll end up liking more folk. don't sit a pregnant dog and moan, but do something about it.
oh yeah, and the last part of this is i liked it when mad people were shelling out actual cash for crits/items, that was great.

yeh i agree ... pacis are only used to make money.Pacifists hurt NM. But the newer areas put it back on the top of my list as #1 games.

What he said.
P.S I'm a hipocrite: Tienno was, and remains to be a knob. *Deval adds a chip*
