plz staff while ya look up on that cheater bill is talking about look over Klepto on Main his been lvling/even pallies r already lvl 27+ and mainly tain them at cg "u know fighters/pally/druids dont hit much on cg they miss alot but yeah ive gone there in the pass to pk him and all ic is all attacks coming all at the same time plz look over his acc/and all his done or what not ill bet anyone his autotraining i dont think its fair that he can get away with it i bet if i was to do it man i would get cough the first day also chris aka Undin came with me that same day to pk and seen the samething and both though the same "wtf he autotraining" lol well anyways look into that while ya at it

i believe on mainserver, you just use a key cloner to run all attacks at once... thats how people multibox characters on WoW...

it will play your keypresses on every window... doesnt mean you are auto training, but its probably not exactly legit for Nightmist.

There's no need to be a smartalec - I'm well aware that keyboards and mice require drivers and daemons to function. I haven't got the time to make a watertight rule that someone won't find a loophole or technicality in, but it doesn't need much more than common sense to know what is breaking the spirit of the game. Software assistance are things like packet repeaters and programs that send keystroke messages to arbitrary windows (as described above), either as a semi-automated bot or capturing and duplicating actual keystrokes.

I don't play the game much anymore because of the cheating(auto training, auto rolling, multi pcing all of it).. who needs to cheat at a text based game? what does it prove? why do you need loopholes to succeed?

Everytime staff tries to do something productive or that applies to the rules they get whined at or cussed out on forum without fear because the bannings have become nonexistant or a joke.. "perm" banned players get let back eventually anyways so no real consequences.

When alot of the older players(I'm talking pre reset or ones that came right at reset) left, the new "I'm entitled to everything" generation of nm players stepped up.. mostly made up of the players that were pushed around back in the day due to being new, lacking chars or lacking skill. Those same people are now some of the most powerful people on a stagnant game(some instantly because of hand outs/sharing) and they don't know how to handle it other than be immature and try to ruin everyone else's experience and try to make them log off.. whats the goal of making people not want to log/play? you're the same ones complaining about the game being dead!

Also the whole PvP mentality of NM shifted.. first main goes nopk.. people leave and the ones left stock up when its dead and then vote to reverse the decision so it can be pk again and in thier favor.. kind of lame and most of the "big dogs" of PKing were long gone by this time. Now, Instead of dueling to settle stupid things like the old days and whoever was left standing won and the argument was usually dropped(possibly respect gained from a good fight even).. people run and crap talk whoever tried to get them from in town saying that "they won, because they didn't die".. what happened to the honor?

I used to take alot of enjoyment in playing and bsing with a good part of the playerbase.. but I'm asking myself more and more lately "whats the point of even logging anymore?" whenI do get a few to log on. The whole game itself is far worse and personal than the old crap talking at SGH ever was.. and people got banned for alot of things at SGH that staff/players wouldn't even consider bannable now.

Stig, I'd like to give you props for standing up against the bs and doing what you think is right as staff in certain situations lately.. even if I don't agree with a move thats made you're the staff member and its your decision. please continue to restore order.. before the whole game is beyond the point of no return(and its close). I know there is a handful of old players that would welcome the idea of coming back to enjoy the game if order is restored.

I cheated because a lot of other people cheated. The people who didn't cheat can be pissed off or whatever, but I had fun, which is the main point of playing a game. Again, sorry, but not really cuz I don't care and dislike most of you.

people want high level characters with high stam but dont wanna do the work.



I hate to say it but, YOU (staff) mostly caused this. and why bother start caring now? cared all along you say? then why is it some who are found cheating only receiver minor punishment while others are the worst people of all time and perm banned? ARE they horrible people? not likely... but they are lazy ass mfers... but after 12 years of nightmist you get to earn the right to be lazy...


ive been an advocate for clean play when it comes to auto trainers for a long time now. but I clearly have lost the point in defending the few of us who worked hard to lvl our shyte...


nightmist is bound to die one day anyway. lets just give it a push... OOOOOOR reset the servers, lower the stupid lvl 40 thing. do an over haul on the game and make it worth working on...

Mr. Rick has excercised his, and 90% of the game now shares with one person or more. So I suggest that if you have an issue with sharing with people, don't harass me because my people do better than your people. Every time I log on I'm catching the middle of a weed smoking conversation. My answer to you all on the subject is, maybe stop smoking dope and get your nuts together and maybe you can think of a better way to excel in what it is that you want to accomplish.

Me personally, I would rather not waste time leveling up a character that I will not be happy with long-term. So I devised a plan on how I would like to accomplish said happiness -Within the legal terms of the game-, while also trying to get new people to play. You jealous, greedy, broke turnip bastards should probably go so far as to even thank me for promoting the game and trying to encourage new players to join. Sadly, I've had to explain to people that instead of warm, kindred souls, with open arms to welcome them to the game they will instead encounter a bunch of people who still live with their moms and have sideways turnip's from all of the never-ending spankin'.

*Also, I've been here since pre-reset, I've never even been banned for more than a day. I'm like the only original player still here. So don't give me nuts about what I deserve and how I go about doing things.

Jurian- It would be awesome if you could take a few minutes and send Stig a private forum message with the full e-mails and/or names of the individuals unblocked so he can try to cross reference and determine who they are. He is the most active(only active?) current staffer at the time and would be the most likely to right a wrong... Or possibly fill out a ticket on the site.. hopefully it would really help bring some hard evidence forward thats lacking currently.

The whole playerbase doesn't need to see the entire names/e-mails but it would be nice to see some justice done by staff if there is enough evidence for it.

dude anyone of us can have 3-4 of our friends come over with thier laptops and take a pic of them all sittin on nm pretending to be rolling crits for us(its kinda sad u have ppl doing that for u to begin with) and it wouldnt mean sh!t, so ur proof is abosultely irrevelant... u cheat, straight up and thats all there is to it, staff might fall for ur little "asians rolling for sushi scheme" but i wont i think its total bogus, why cant u roll crits urself if ur so good at it? i just find it funny anymore that ever since i brought this all up, u havent been braggin about what u have rolled or posted anything new or anything, so play the game the right way as it was originally intended, work for the stuff u want, dont cheat just to be a cool kid with a cobalt homo

lol that sounds like him man, july is when he started "rolling" all these good stat crits, we all say it was with an autoroller, but he claims hes got a nail shop full of asains rolling the crits for him, which is bogus, so hopefully u send that email to Stig and its enough evidence that he needs, gg Jurian

I was wondering something... when I looked at his sale posts and saw it was almost always 5-6 stats being sold. If there was a rolling team its impossible not to roll a bunch of 4 stats while trying to roll those 5ers and 6ers.. and if he was set on rolling to get his own chars and also make bank and sell then why wouldn't he try to sell the massive amounts of 4 stats he should have accumulated even if its just for a tiny bit of gold? As far as I recall auto rollers only stop on the set # of perfect stats you set them to stop on right?

Also the time frame all of these are rolled in needs to be looked at and see what was rolled/created/kept.. I'm not staff/admin so I can't tell what was rolled when But if they are appearing like we all think at a rapid rate.. even with a team of 10 people rolling you would still not pump out that much luck. There are people here that have been rolling for years upon years and haven't saw 1 six stat and have only saw a couple 5 stats. I can guarantee you back when the game was in its prime there was atleast 10+ people rolling for good portions of every day(especially with how much Jess and a few others used to roll/sell) and I have never saw such a fast influx of 5-6 statters for sale as I have now.

This is something serious that staff needs to look heavily into and fix, At the same time I am sorry if we're all jumping to conclusions when we shouldn't be but with the past of cheating on this game and the evidence thats stacking .. it just doesn't look in your favor. I will be the first to admit I am wrong if its looked into and decided that you are not going against the rules. If you are truely doing nothing wrong I don't think you would have a problem with staff looking into it.. at the very least it would set all of this straight.

whichever Matt that is in Jurian's pic and anyone else who has contacted him for rollers should be monitored by staff.. if not Banned for good and not let back.

The "friends" are actually in a hair/nail salon working environment and they are all Asians. Do you think he paid his "friends", who are clearly workers, to pose this shot inside a business establishment? I suppose its possible but this is a bit more elaborate then you're giving credit for.

Okey pointers, this is for educational purposes only obviously:

Get some software that lets you use multiple mouse pointers. (and generate as much mouse pointers for the amount of rolling screens you can run on your screen without them blocking each other, like a 1920x1200 can hold 4 clients at the same time).
Have them open up at specific x/y coordinates (thats build in in the NM client I believe) so they dont block each other.
Use one mouse per roller client.
Notice how perf. stats turn yellow (or something close to), they are scrambled but they still have more 'yellow' in them then they have 'red'. Figure out the limits of these color codes and program them accordingly to distinguish.
Then if you want a 4 stats, tell it to pick pixels from the specific stat coordinates to check if they're 'yellow' or 'red'. If not, then re-roll.
If math question comes up, just close the client (by randomly clicking on the client).
Open a new window up (if you made 4 shortcuts, you open the one shortcut, with the right coordinates, that places it exactly the same spot).
Click 'create character' (or whatever its called), enter random name string, and repeat.

For truly educational purposes you'd want to make something that can solve the math questions, which would require recognition (which I think Jurian's had, at least his could solve the math questions from what I've been told). For a one-time-purpose deal the fastest (and dirtiest) code is often the way to go tho.

All of this doesn't matter tho, cause if John actually checks logs, he can see suspicious activity, since all of the actual rolling still occurs on his side. But it's one of the few projects that got me to where I am today.. So yea, something I am NM grateful for, and I mean that sincere.

I remember speaking with Jurian about his autoroller back when he was playing. He informed me that when question comes up that it exits out. Take note he didnt directly tell me he was autotraining and autorolling, i found that out from another source close to him. With talking with him though he advised me when rolling to close out when a question comes up and start rerolling. Which after he quit and mentioned what he did it made sense. As if he was informing other people to do it then it wouldnt look suspicious of him doing it himself.

Jurian, you really should just post all the emails in my opinion. Expose em all for the masses. Will be a good read I'm sure! And yeah I'm a pre-reset player too, but I don't currently play Nightmist and haven't in years. I just come by here for the hell of it and see what's happening.
