Something that my grandmother told me as a younger girl will stick with me throughout my whole life. I wont go into details as to what brought the conversation on, aside from the fact being that its a personal thing, it doesnt relate to the topic. Comment below
Everyone has a heart that pumps blood through their body.
Everyone is born into this world one way or another.
Everyone dies.
No one in this world is better than anyone else, or has it harder than anyone else. We are all equals in our own way. We are human, we have our good times, our bad times, and our trials. If you honestly think someone has it easier than you, try walking a mile in their shoes.
And thats my opinion.

On the many roads I've taken
Flames are not what get you burned
It's the cold and the ice
Here's a piece of advice
I got from a little bird
The flames can get you
Stirred
It's the cold that leaves you shaken
I don't like to philosophize
I just want to tell a story
Always leave when a woman cries
Never look in a woman's eyes
You'll get stuck with a high and rising fever
And then you can't leave her
Please, don't wait man
It's almost too late man
She cries and you want to hold her
She lies and you want to run away
But just give her a minute
I promise you're in it to stay
She smiles and you'll stay forever
She screams
Well, that's the price you pay
But there's no one can make you
Forget how you feel
For all she can take
You've got more there to steal
So you don't mind a bit of surprise
And she cries
I don't like to admit I'm wrong
I believe in guts and glory
But it's time I should change my song
I've been here just a bit too long
Always thought I was much too strong for hating
And still I keep waiting...
And while I'm resolving
That door keeps revolving
She cries and you want to hold her
She lies and you're half way out the door
But you never can do it
She'll make you go through it once more
She smiles and you'll stay forever
She sings
Oh, she's got you now for sure
And each time that you swear
That you will not give in
She'll throw you a stare
That'll show you can't win
It's amazing how hard each man tries
But she cries
All of a sudden
You fall for her charms
You promise you'll stop all her tears
All of sudden
She's back in your arms
And the walls start closing
And blocking out the light
And changing all your dreams
And right before your eyes
She cries
And I don't know the answer
She spies
And there's no place I can hide
When I look in the mirror,
There's nothing but fear here inside
I run
And still she is right behind me
I fall
The chasm is too wide
So I'm stuck in this world of her magic mystique
Where I'll never be more than her toy of the week
But each time I prepare my goodbyes
Well, she catches me looking
And she opens the floodgates
And she cries...

quite right Kimmi, i read the first maybe 3posts and found it to be rather pathetic and childish... cmon, sexism is wrong. take this 'classic' quote for exampleTrully revolting discussion. No one person in this world has it any easier than anyone else. We all have trials and situations we have to work through and overcome. We all have hardships. Maybe someone elses problems seem minor to you, but they are devastating for them, thus making them equal in their impact on the individual. If you held this conversation, leaving stereotypes of the sexes out of it, there would be no basis for discussion. Easier to understand: Without the "men are stronger, woman can manipulate" stuff left out, there is no argument.

'sure god created man before women, but then you always make a rough draft copy before the final masterpiece'
<sarcasm>boy, i think thats --so funny--, makes me want to go out and change sex</sarcasm>
as bad as this sounds, i think you will find that most people who are 'with' sexism so to speak are more vain than anything else, or maybe they just think that they arent as good as one another and try and point out pathetically small differences to somehow make themselves feel better about themselves, when i dont think that they think about how it is hurting other people..
heres something to think about when thinking who is 'better' than the other
Females need Males to reproduce and keep themselves alive, Males need Females to reproduce and keep themselves alive.. it takes two to tango, without eachother we are screwed.. also, if one is better than the other, how come the 'worse' one wasnt 'deleted' from creation?
sorry if this all sounded rude or shiznity, just i am 100% against sexism, i find it totally childish and wrong.. its just like racism... or anything else that people make up to make themselves feel stronger than one another..as i said sorry if it sounded rude or w/e, i think its best if i not visit this thread anymore and get all worked up over this topic

who honeslty believes that one race/sex/creed has it better? stop taking everything so seriously, i know that not every guy takes a seven minute shower, and there are better girl drivers than even me (I'll never admit it in public!). it's a tongue-in-cheek joke that supposed to make us laugh, maybe some of us learned something. get over yourself dali-lama, and try to not get disgusted at every little thing, and have some fun. i'm and ass, yeah i know, but lighten up for god's sake. make fun of yourself as well as the quircky little things we do, and be human like the rest of us.
in the meantime, we'll be laughing it up.

men eat anything because they don't worry about gaining weight..
That is such rubbish. I gained 7kg over the holidays because of what I was eating, which I quickly took off again once I started back at class.

For example, a football player would eat massive quantities of food to gain 'bulk' while working out to turn that 'bulk' into muscle. Thats pretty much the only example besides a sumo wrestler I can think of that a guy WOULDNT worry about gained weight.
Oh and deval, Where is that.... uh song/poem (not sure which) from? or whats it called. I like it.
PERSONALLY, I think guys have it worse. I have no real logical reasoning I can think of right now, I just think guys have it worse.
But then again I AM a guy, so that may be a biased opinion (If you dont know im getting somewhere with this, your officially slow) And well, Any women that have posted on this post ARE women, so they are biased too.... So we either need a uni-sexed person's opinion, OR we need someone opinion who is neither for a TOTALLY unbiased opinion... We arent going to find someone like that anytime soon, so lighten up and dont take everything so seriously...
Thanks.

preference.. purely preference, it is NOT a genetic thing that makes a male not care about himself, it is preference. You too can 'not care' if you choose toI do think males have it easier because they tend to have more of a 'I don't care what you think about me' attitude.

You gotta get laid back, and not care about things as much by the looks of it anyhow.

'She Cries' from Songs for a New World, written by Jason Robert Brown, best performance of it IMO by Brooks Ashmanskas.
My sig is also from teh same show, 'I'd Give It All For You'.
Well, the whole soundtrack totally rocks IMO. Now I'ma have to go listen to it again.
Download it if you have an open mind to music and can actually shy away from modern day commercialist horse sh1t.

Not sure if it's already been said or not, but I believe:
Each person brought into this world, is given nothing more than they can survive and aren't made to do anything they're unable to achieve.
I found a quote from the bible concerning that exact thing also, but I've lost it now Oh well..

I know this is slightly off topic and i probs should say it but, bak to that man rape thing. Its not possible to rape a guy cause they are pretty much all willing, and if they arent... just stick a metal splint in it.
Don't be ignorant. I don't understand how 99% of Nightmist can be spastic enough to not realise that there is no such thing as rape on a man other than anally. Jeeze.
