More from Dubya...

"They want the federal government controlling Social Security like it's some kind of federal program."

Isn't it?

"The most important job is not to be governor, or first lady in my case."

Been in your wife's lingerie drawer again? Shall I refer to you as Mrs. Bush now?

"I think we ought to raise the age at which juveniles can have a gun."

Last time I checked juveniles were not allowed to own guns.

"People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have a tremendous impact on history."

Talking about yourself again?

"Redefining the role of the United States from enablers to keep the peace to enablers to keep the peace from peacekeepers is going to be an assignment."

Yes, let us make an effort to keep peace from peacekeepers!

"I mean, there needs to be a wholesale effort against racial profiling, which is illiterate children."

Your wholesale effort is illiterate children?

"Will the highways on the internet become more few?"

few, fewer, the fewest...

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

Seriously...

"For every fatal shooting, there were roughly three non-fatal shootings. And, folks, this is unacceptable in America. It's just unacceptable. And we're going to do something about it."

Sending people to school to learn to aim better now?

"Neither in French nor in English nor in Mexican."

Psst, the speak SPANISH in Mexico, you know...

"I want it to be said that the Bush administration was a results-oriented administration, because I believe the results of focusing our attention and energy on teaching children to read and having an education system that's responsive to the child and to the parents, as opposed to mired in a system that refuses to change, will make America what we want it to be - a more literate country and a hopefuller country."

Unlike few, fewer, the fewest, here we have a case of hopeful, more hopeful, most hopeful, Mr. Bush. Surely, if I as a foreign national can learn this basic piece of grammar, so can you.

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."

Even I am at a loss of words over this statement...

"I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change."

I would be interested in hearing your definition of irreversible. I was always under the impression that irreversible meant something like "unchangeable".

"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."

Makes me wonder what you actually did shake there.

"I was raised in the West. The west of Texas. It's pretty close to California. In more ways than Washington, D.C., is close to California."

Give the man a map, jeesh.

"Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?"

Obviously they isn't, is they?

"The French don't have a word for `Entrepreneur`"

Not anymore... you stole it from them and claimed it as your own, appearently.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

Here, let me help you. The saying is: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

"My trip to Asia begins here in Japan for an important reason. It begins here because for a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times. From that alliance has come an era of peace in the Pacific."

Sure, Mr. Bush, 150 years. Wait, you forgot about this little insignificant break in your enduring alliance called WORLD WAR II.

"I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport."

Ticket counters can fly now? Is it cheaper to fly counter than plane?

"We are fully committed to working with both sides to bring the level of terror down to an acceptable level for both."

There is an acceptable level of terror?

"We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease."

It's a continent, Mr. Bush.

There is only one thing left to say...

Dig it, Dubya!

I feel like the fairy godmother... you wished for it, so here I go:

"One reason I changed the Labour Party is so that we can remain true to our principles."

Does anyone else see the irony in that statement?

"I don't make predictions. I never have and I never will."

Mr. Blair, that just was a prediction.

"The single most important two things we can do..."

single= 1 two things = 2

It appears that Mr. Blair is somewhat smarter than Mr. Bush. I can't find a lot of funny quotes from him, so what I posted here will have to do for now.

Those Bushisms are one of the reasons I would never vote for Bush. I dont want a president that is the before part of the Hooked on Phonics. His father should write to Harvard and request his money back.

I know a lot of you were waiting for Bushisms part 3. I was a bit too sick yesterday, so forgive me the delay. Here we go:

"It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it."

Sure way to identify a budget!

"Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream."

Go ahead wing, grab that dream!

"You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.''

Her will be able to pass? How about SHE will be able to pass? I think you failed.

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

I don't know about you, but I see my OB-GYN for other reasons than to practice love.

"They misunderestimated me."

Ummm... sure.

"The truth of that matter is, if you listen carefully, Saddam would still be in power if he were the president of the United States, and the world would be a lot better off."

Are you saying even Saddam would do a better job than you?

"Another example would be the Dred Scott case, which is where judges, years ago, said that the Constitution allowed slavery because of personal property rights. That's a personal opinion. That's not what the constitution says. The constitution of the United States says we're all — you know, it doesn't say that. It doesn't speak to the equality of America."

I strongly suggest you read your constitution before trying to comment on it.

"It's the Afghan national army that went into Najaf and did the work there."

It was the Iraqui national army. Najaf, I hate to inform you, is in Iraq.

"Had we to do it over again, we would look at the consequences of catastrophic success, being so successful so fast that an enemy that should have surrendered or been done in escaped and lived to fight another day."

Very successful indeed!

"I hope you leave here and walk out and say, 'What did he say?'"

I do every time you open your mouth.

"I wish I wasn't the war president. Who in the heck wants to be a war president? I don't."

Could have fooled me there.

"I want to thank my friend, Senator Bill Frist, for joining us today. You're doing a heck of a job. You cut your teeth here, right? That's where you started practicing? That's good. He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me."

Yep, you're a West Texas girl.

"Earlier today, the Libyan government released Fathi Jahmi. She's a local government official who was imprisoned in 2002 for advocating free speech and democracy."

Considering this was a speech paying tribute to women reformers during International Women's Week, I wonder if it is of any relevance that Fathi Jahmi is a MAN!

"Then you wake up at the high school level and find out that the illiteracy level of our children are appalling."

The level are appalling? Yes, Mr. Bush, your level are very appalling indeed.

"I think if you know what you believe, it makes it a lot easier to answer questions. I can't answer your question."

Very well said!

"Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness."

That explains a lot!

"Laura and I really don't realize how bright our children is sometimes until we get an objective analysis."

Well yes, in order to detect intelligence, you have to be intelligent yourself.

"One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures."

Makes it easier for you to read, doesn't it?

Im 110% for bush! yah i can laugh at these quotes and pictures but think for a second. How does what bush says make him a flip flopper? Hes never been great with words and be probably never will be. I belive actions speak louder then words? So hes made mistakes, cant blame everything on him.. hes only been president the last 4 yrs. If bush was a Democrat im sure all of you would find ways to praise him. Surely its easy to find insults and ways to slander someone. If Kerry's supporters were actually as intelligent as they attempt to make themselves sound they wouldn't need to sit attempting to insult others or make excuses why they lost. Bush isnt the best president in alot of ways but hes far better then various previous presidents and much better a candidate then Mr. Ketchup.

You know Limit, it's funny, because I didn't lose anything. I don't live in the US, and I'm not a US citizen. Hence I am not a supporter of any candidate in your country. If I was a US citizen living in the US, I definitely wouldn't have voted for Bush though. Maybe Kerry isn't the best either, but anything, including a potted plant, is better than Bush.

As for Bush not being a flip-flopper, how about you read the link that Exilus posted earlier on this thread? Here, I will even post it for you again:

http://www.americanp...WJcP7H&b=118263

P.S. I am not slandering Bush, I am merely quoting his own statements and commenting them with the first thing that pops into my mind. See, where I live, we do have freedom of speech, and I practice it.

Well, at least he does admit to his intentions finally:

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

I love that quote :P

And that picture...Bush reading to the little girl... upsidedown.... ahhh... words escape me.

Limit im curious as to what former presidents you mean, because if you mean clinton, You may want to check exctly what your money was worth, and the fact that since bush took office there are half the jobs in the USA than there were under clinton, even with Bushes "improvements."

Fact Bush Sucks, Your money is as good as worthless to the rest of the world, Your jobs are cut in half because MR. Bush Offered tax cuts to companies shipping goods into the US, so alot of your major companies moved out to get them, Fact the only thing bush is good at so far in this administration is start a war and snowball the reasons for it.

Fact Iraq did not now or ever attack the US, Sadam is not aka Osma. Fact no weapons have been found and all the weapons inspectors have shown that Sadam did not have WMD's and had not since after I fought there. So you know that is going on 12 years.

Fact Bush lied to the world and to the US when he said they had proof and new where they were, and insulted germany and France and Russia when they kept saying no you don't, they dont exist and you know it.

Fact the US wrote the rules for conduct in the UN, this means what it takes to go to war, and the princables of diplomacy. Bush then discarded those rules in attacking Iraq and then wants to wonder why the world is now saying, you screwed up you have to fix it, yes we will loan you the money you need but hey thats ok your the one killing your own country.

The only thing bush has tried to remain loyal to in his entire time in office is his strict christian views, and you know what that is technically illegal, I am waiting for some Dem polition to realise this and push impeachment on the grounds of violations of freedom of religion act. As well the constitution amendment that says Congress will make no law, respecting an instition of religion, nor restricting the practice there of, Further more the president of the United States will reconise a seperation of church and state, never allowing himself to make dessions(sp) on his faith based beliefs... It continues the short meaning that to do so is a violation of the trust given in his office. G Goarge Abortion is against my religion, so is being gay, so is being not being of my religion.

The man makes promises that he can't keep because to do so is to bankrupt the USA I wrote a good post when he was relected you should read it and you should probally pay more attention to what. Dubya is doing instead of what he is saying. Then when you cast the collective of groan of how gullable are we, I will simply state one more time... Enjoy the next four years, they will be long ones.
