Alt + Esc is about the fastest way i can think of, but really i'm too lazy to do that and let my mouse do the clicking from crit to crit.

YaY, lets ban everyone for using their keyboard!!!! .......alt+esc can be done by anyone, so why this big fuss over it? If you didnt know about it, then maybe you need to learn how a computer/keyboard works before accusing people of cheating.

Well i guess someone finally let it out, though it doesn't really matter, the experienced people are still gonna be faster, i switch/attack as fast as i can click the mouse, amateurs gonna need practice before they intend on taking on the experienced user, but this is just a game, it doesn't matter who's better or who's worse, go ahead, use alt+esc and see what happens, i look forward to having a challenge instead of people running away all the time.

Guys, Im feeling a bit bid right now for ever bringing the topic up. Myrdon, this topic wasn't meant to get you banned or anyone else, and this wasn't made because I'm a sore loser. This was simply made out of curiousity. JLH, there's no way he could have done your trick fast enough, because this stuff happened in a second flat. Not even my macros were fast enough at healing, and usually I can withstand 3-4 arch rangers. I'm sorry for any hassle this has caused anyone.

EDIT: I'd appreciate it if staff close this topic.

I remember Kim telling me to use alt+esc at Malok when he didn't heal while you weren't on square and kim drove while my crits hit. I couldn't hold down my macros and go through my boxes like that, so I've never bothered with it...

After looking at how quickly it can swap the boxes and how much less effort it would take to go through rounds if I learned how....I may start doing that at bosses so long as there isn't a rule against it.

Also, Momba, You said it should be removed or be a bannable offence.

First off, like others have said, this can be done many ways, a automated program so you set off your macro's on all characters super fast, or simply what JLH said. But there is -no- way to prove someone just doesnt have super fast fingers, So I highly doubt anyone will be ban unless they admit to it or JLH puts in some way to detect automated programs.

I only felt is should be a bannable offense if it was a feature offered on a certain OS's. Because if some didn't run this OS then there would be an unfair advantage.

If this is like the stam trick then more power to the ones that use it. It was ingame for ages before people started catching on. It was a trick everyone had access to. It was just a matter of knowing, as this one turns out to be.

This isn't cheating, nor is it anything JLH can do anything about without blocking alt-tab like some big graphical games do. It's really annoying when they do that though. It won't be removed.

ive known about this command for a long time....ive never really used it though..just used macrols(normaly just duel or kill boss or pk on thiefs so i got plenty of time to macrol someone lol) but recently jeremy(myrdon) has been helping me with this command and to use it ingame...it is much faster/easier...and its not a cheat..if this were ever considered a cheate then how about macrol's...thats a cheat...but i dont see anyone complaining..so sshh

i just relized that, i forgot tabs within a tabbed browser don't count as windows

ive known about this for awhile but i cant use it, the fast movement freezes my 6 year old computer.

Alts do not require any 'skill', it's just a collection of little tricks like this to give an edge in battle and replace skill. Character development is dead.

Character development? once you got your stats rolled the character development is over, every crit is basically the same as another crit of the same class, besides hp and equipment that some people might have and others don't, diablo 2 and revelation have character development that actually means something, not this game

It's amazing how players of a game set in a world populated with gnomes and goblins don't have the slightest bit of imagination. Character development goes BEYOND the technical aspect. This is a game, it was once called an rpg and believe it or not it's actually fun to concentrate on a single character as opposed to twenty.

I certainly don't mind focusing on one character if the games meant for one character, but in a game like this that aint limited to one crit at a time besides the pacifist, its a lot easier to explore the game and i'd rather not have a major disadvantage if someone decides they want to try and kill me using 4 or 5+ crits, if someone wants to use 1 character throughout the game, go ahead, but don't start complaining when someone comes along with a whole party and kills you.
