As he says this Silverwizard weaves it into a spell causing Galeb to obey him. Upon completing the spell he conjours a battle axe made of flame then turns into the Silverdragon and gets off the disc ready to do battle.
I got the same impression as everyone else; I was thinking you should have provided the opportunity to Squee to adjust the result more easily. Something like:
* "As he says this Silverwizard weaves it into a spell that, if successful, would cause Galeb to obey him."
or
* "As he says this Silverwizard weaves it into a spell that, should cause Galeb to obey him."
Also, you performed like 4 seperate, distinct actions in one specific instance. Both of the spells you mentioned, would generally require much more time to cast (allowing others to take action in the meantime).
I would say that you have to be very thoughtful in your posting - being careful how you word things so that you don't dictate situations that others are supposed to have influence on. ))

As Mantis circles around trying to guard from the soldier's attacks; the soldiers all at once attack. Mantis parrys three swords with a slash from Oathen, kicks another off it's intended path, but is skewered by the two pikes. Both pierce directly where his heart should be. "Aaargh." Mantis cries in agony as the soldiers twist their pikes in the wound. "I always wondered why my heart was on the other side." He grunts, still in pain.
The soldiers, seeing their pikes pierce this warrior's heart, though they would be granted a bonus. When he didnt die, they thought some foul sorcery was afoot, since they obviously had no medical expertise.
Mantis, wheeling in anger after being stabbed, brings the flat of Oathen's blade to bear on the pikeman in front of him. *CLANG!* Is the sound heard as the blade connects and the soldier teeters out of the fray, deafened.
In his anger, Mantis leaves himself open, and the remaining soldiers take the opportunity and drive their blades home into the Paladin's flesh.
"No...Cat..." Are his last words as he falls to the ground in a pool of blood.

Ever since Galeb had left, the voices on the wind had been strangely silent. The King paced grimly about his castle and the people there recognised his mood well enough to keep out of his way
"What is going on?" he murmered, his voice echoing hollowly, cold as ice as it revertebrated down the coridoors now emptied of people "Why don't you tell me how Galeb fares?"
"Obstructionssss" the wind hissed softly about him, stirring the curls of his blue hair despite the fact he was inside the castle and no windows were open.
"Damn them" King Elwin cursed, mood darkening by the moment "I despise being kept in the dark so. Who do these rebel fools think they are to cast their petty cantrips against our vision"
Without even realising he had emerged onto the castle turretts. He raised his hand to the wound the falcon had given him. Already it was beginning to heal, but the scar would show for a long while.
Eyes storming, face tainted by the shadows of the early morning, he turned his gaze upon Karfendale, clearly visible from this point. Now, now that he was in the open air, the wind was no longer silent. His purple cloak blew about him as the wind seemed to pick up, the winds called out around him in a haunting unnatural melody that seemingly only he heard, intoxicing his mind with thoughts of power...
"Karfendale, where Galeb heads" he murmered, eyebrows furrowing in concentration as he tried to make out the figures, but even his eyes... even with the powers he could sometimes call upon, were not that perceptive "Serve me well Galeb... do not allow them to make you fall"
"It would be a disgrace"

Opie gallops into the midst of the fight, running down various soldiers. He reaches back and grabs one of Blaster's arms, before swinging him forward, Axe at the ready.
Blaster rolls into a small cluster of soldiers before Opie knocks away all but one. Blaster readies his axe and yells "IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!"

(( ooc: and.... noone at the fight has yet noticed their injured and collapsed comrade? ))"No...Cat..." Are his last words as he falls to the ground in a pool of blood.
Charon
Charon trailed somewhat reluctantly behind Katianna on her way to "watch" the battle go down, barely speaking along the way, something gnawing uncomfortably within her.
Tall shields and a flash of red, a crumbling citadel. Forests torn down by weapons of war... bought low by the flames of anguish
Charon shook her head numbly, trying to lose the images
Tears streaming down a cold face as she observed the destruction. Those who travelled with her froze, some of them starting screaming or shaking...
"What...What..." she had tried to say, but she had been unable
She raised her head and looked forwards. Just outside the city the battle had started
"The soldiers of Lord Elwin" she murmered softly "Soldiers... there aren't as many of them as I thought he may have sent. I always assumed... he sent many on all tasks"
Tall shields with embossed emblems lay about the ground... the fight had been fierce... and yet there were so many more elves than there were shields
"Too many..." she'd murmered dazed as she'd walked into the citadel, robes trailing in the tainted earth, soaking up the blood of the fallen, the murdered until with dread she had approached her own once magnificent household, still smoking in its crumbled delapidated state
"Cha..." the faint whisper, the agonised cry echoed through her "El...win"
"There aren't... so many" she murmered as she looked at the forces. Sure, there were more of Lord Elwin's soldiers than there were fighters on their side but...
"Father!" Charon had cried out, believing that perhaps he had survived the slaughter, that it was he who now rasped... somehow trapped within the house. She had dashed into the smoking building despite the cries of those with her, the scream that had escaped her throat when she saw-
"No!" she watched in horror as she saw Mantis go down
Distorted tear stained vision, all she saw was... all she could see was... She'd tried to turn away and been unable, she'd retched but nothing... nothing could break the enchanting elegance of the slaughter that had been left...
<Left for me to find... thats why they sent us back>
"Burn it down" she'd rasped near silently to those who waited outside as she finally managed to turn away, managed to dry her eyes and regain some semblance of control "All of it, burn it all down and start over. The forest cries here already... we have to purify... we have to start over"
They never had burnt it all down... just that one house. They'd called rains to flood the town, to wash away the blood. The morbid task of burying those meant to live long... the pain as she'd looked to the soldiers and thought of desecrating them in some sort of vengence, preventing them from ever reaching whatever afterlife they believed in... the darkness that had threatened to take her before she had forced it back... before she'd taken upon herself the task of burying what few soldiers had died here alongside the fallen elves... As she'd sworn away her anger to try and replace it with pity
"I won't bury anyone else" she was shaking but determined "The Fates can't want me... to bury anyone else... not yet"
"I suppose... I shall not be watching" She glanced at Katiana... then she walked forward towards the warriors, towards the battle. She breezed across the plains with an out of place elegance, distanced... she didn't look like she belonged in such a place, among warriors... and she did not.
By chance the warriors on both side seemed so preoccupied with each other, with the attacks that it seemed they never even noticed her approach, then, unfearing she knelt besides Mantis, pressed her hand against the wound to see if she could gage its depth.
"Mantis" she whispered softly "You there?" She wiped her hand on her cloak before attempting to check for a pulse, her hands glowing faintly all the while as she slowly looked back at the fighting
Her eyes fell on the laughing warrior, the blonde hair visible now that he had removed his helm and lept into the air.
Had she seen him, when she had been an emissary at the Castle? She'd couldn't recall... she'd seen so many warriors.
But his imposing figure, the authority he commanded... he was obviously the lead here.
The air sheened protectively infront of her forming a flimsy shield around herself and Mantis as she raised her head. Mantis had picked her out as someone once a noble, she herself had called herself a diplomat... either way, some aspect of this tainted her voice as she spoke to them, clearly and in a manner that didn't belong in the midst of battle
"What happens here?" she asked softly of anyone among the soldiers who would listen, feining ignorance. Her voice shook as she tried to erase the old vehemence from her voice... anger rose within her at the though that she was standing here before killers... maybe even those who had harmed her own people... and yet she was doing nothing.
But she had long ago tried to lay that aside, long ago decided that anger wasn't for her... and as long as the barrier held, she could risk being peaceful.
"Would bring warriors Lord Elwin to this place? I bid you answer... I beg you answer. By what ill will, by what design must these people too fall to the wrath of the Eagle and Lion? Why must more blood taint the hands of your forces?"

Mantis KO'ed 1.
Opie "knocked away all but one"...so...there were 3 groups of soldiers. A dozen on Bremen, 6 on Mantis and 5 on his horse. That means he knocked away at least 4.
Umm...Bremen casted some spell...I'll assume it knocked out half...meaning he took out 6 soldiers.
24-1-4-6 = 13 + Galeb
...I'll split up those remaining soldiers later, telling everyone just how many opponents they're dealing with...I'll also engage Steven into this fight.))

Catching sight of the battle – finally – her eyes light up like a child in a candy store. That one ‘must’ be Galeb. Dual Scimitars, nice. …not nearly as big as I expected.
Her hand quickly finds the grip of the hand crossbow at her side and rests on it comfortably – just in case.
Seeing Mantis fall, without concern of her own, she, again, curiously watches Charon fly into the fray to help him. Bold lass. she thinks, following Charons actions intently.
…and Steven, where is he? Scanning the crowd, her gaze passes over Bract, Ulantees, and Aladar, coming to finally rest on the young lad hefting a rather large broad sword. Chuckling at the sight she watches to see how he handles himself in the fight.
She, herself, is hardly distinguishable from any other of the common bystanders that are gathering in force at this spectacle.

Opie leaps from his horse and into the fray, only to send his horse running.*whistles* "Ya! get out of here, run!" Morosurf Gallops off into town, and stops in front of the Dancing Wolf Inn, ready to protect it at all costs. Opie draws his sword and swings at a soldier. He doesn't see what his blade hit, although he knows it would not have killed whatever it did.
"No!" she watched in horror as she saw Mantis go down
Opie turns around to see what happened, and gets a look of horor as he sees Charon leaning over touching Mantis, and Mantis changing. "NOOOOOO! Charon, STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!" He yells, afraid of what could happen to either one of the two.
((ooc sorry, i didn't mean to take a bunch of soldiers, only two, i just meant to send them running, or whatever. lol, i guess that's unlikely))

"Mantis?"
Charon looked up hearing the cry, saw that it was Opie who had yelled at her... he knew Mantis didn't he? From..."NOOOOOO! Charon, STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!"
<From when exactly?> she realised she didn't know
She closed her eyes and clenched her jaw. Whatever was happening to Mantis he wasn't dead
<Then what is he?> something bothered her and yet again she saw her late night hallucination, his shifting cloak... the dream that had bothered her as she'd finally slept, a dream of wings...
<If he's not dead, I don't need to worry> she tried to tell herself as opened her eyes once again and cast a somewhat helpless look at Opie, back at the soldiers... yes, with the soldiers here she really didn't want to have to drop her shield if she could help it, not in the middle of the battlefield and yet... with the disturbance coming from within her shield she was caught in with the crackling energy
She tried to turn her attention back to the soldiers, but the energy was smothering, she was finding it harder to breathe
"Please, answer me" was she speaking to Mantis or the soldiers? At that moment, she really didn't know

"BRACT! HOLD!" Ulantees cries as he digs his heels into the earth to come to a stumbling stop. "What happens here?!"
Scanning the scrap Ulantees is all too aware the fight involves Elwin due to the apparel of the men with pikes, but who were these other strangers, and why were they fighting Elwins men? "An uprising in Elwins own kingdom? Surely not, anyone opposing him would swiftly meet their doom... Unless they had something he wanted... Something he needed..." Ulantees turns to Aladar with a quizzical look, "I don't suppose you know anything of this my dear spellcaster?"

Eventually, Steven arrived to see a completely chaotic fight. He was bedazzled at the sight. He hadn't seen this kind of fighting since...since...
He shook his head and swallowed hard. No time for remenicing. He had to do...something. With a grunt, he pulled the broad sword from his back and held it forward, both hands tightly upon it.
"...Galeb! Where are you?!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You two, dispose of the stone statue," Galeb sternly commanded his soldiers. Quickly, two of them rushed off to Bremen and brutally hacked away at his stone body with their swords.
The previous agressors to Bremen looked at Galeb, hungry for orders. With a jerk of his head, Galeb sent the half-dozen soldiers towards the Silverdragon, pikes at the ready.
Just then, Galeb saw the new participants. He let out a frustrated groan and ran his fingers through his long, blonde hair.
The 5 soldiers dealing with Mantis' Nightmare Stallion were having quite the bit of trouble. They danced around, trying to avoid the seemingly insane horse's stampings. However, whenever one could successfully get behind, they would lash out with a swift stab from their pike or a slash from their sword.
That paladin is long gone. His steed will soon follow...then, I shall...-, Galeb quickly thought to himself. Just then, his thoughts were interrupted by a resounding yell. A familiar voice; an all too familiar voice.
"Steven...Christopher...Avelin!" he called right back, running through the crowds and towards Steven, scimitars drawn and ready.
"So glad you could join us."

With a swift flap his powerful new wings Daemon rises past his feet and into the air, barely missing Charon with the huge wings. He lands on Nightmare Beleaguez and forms his greatsword of fire.
((Technically, this would be a very impressive sight. A man and a horse wreathed in flame. The man, with great wings is no longer a man, but something else.))
