Hard to say what my fav is, I listen to a crap load of different types but lately I've been listening to the Psychopathic Artists rather heavily, so I'll go for their categories.

yes rock does pwn all.. its the only type of music where (some) parents and kids get along with... there nothing like fishing with your dad listening to metallica or some ac-dc, and then occassionally put on some slipknot and korn. ha.. he got a kick out of that.

Why is it that people have to be so stubborn about their opinions and not respect the opinions of others? So f*ckin wot if you think rap sucks, thats your opinion and its not your place to run off making false conclusions about people who listen to that genre of music.

Anybody who thinks listening to particular genres of music have failed in life. I for one am a big fan of metal and rock, but that's not to say i don't listen to all the others. It's not so much that i'm a "fan" of every single genre, but i do have a VERY VERY big taste in different types of music. If you do, you become more successful at music.

As a musician i need inspiration, listening to one type of music won't help me to come up with something original. I have to agree with Zep on this one... DIE
