A Lesson In Hate

Now here is the test for all those who fell in that sect who paged me. That anger, the abbandonment you felt at having a friend of years turn his rage on you is the same rage the same anger that a gay or lesbian, a pagen, and the poor women who goes to have an abbortion feels, while they are being screamed at with obsenities, spat on, and treated like they are nothing all because someone decided that these people are not acting with in gods limits.
But it is not just one person it is alot of people, not just a friend sometimes even their familys. Now i know with this i lost at least one friend who was more dear to me than anyother. But the reaction was what i wanted and even if she hates me forever than so be it. But if you take nothing else away from this remember that rage you felt, that anger and remember it the next time you see another human being treated that way for whatever reason, and dont sit silenty and watch say something.
It doesn`t matter if you are christian, gay, pagen or a plethera of other things, in the end we are all human and deserve the right to choose the way we want to spend our lives. Free of the hate that the simple sentences such as hate a christian day, Gays are against god or whatever the sign reads.
To those of you who didnt see the test of the 150 people on my msn friend list 75 were outraged and unknowingly involved in my little lesson, if you werent imagine seeing that sign and how it would feel, immagine having someone you have known for a long time seem to turn on you for being christian or what ever you are something about you that is different and for whatever reason they dont like. and remember.
This topic became important to me for two reasons one a post by friend who could only say that it was against their religion and two will remain my reason and noone else need no it.

Nicely put.here's a theory.... why don't we all kill each other, then there would be no pathetic arguments about a god that doesn't even exist.

It is human nature to disagree...I do not like the color orange but I don't go around destroying it when I see it nor do I put others down because they like it....
I told you in the email I sent you that I did learn a lesson but it wasn't the one that it appears you wanted to teach...I learned that it doesn't matter how nice I am or how much I keep my opionions/religous affliations/political opionions/sexual preference/whatever to myself, I will still get slammed and all because I am judged by some strangers actions.

The lesson taught is that we need to stop sitting by, stop playing the "it doesn't affect me if they get discriminated because I am not part of them". You were one of the unlucky few who got a feel of what it's like to be treated like that for no reason at all other than having your own set of values and beliefs. You didn't like it, you were hurt, and so are all those homosexuals or otherwise discriminated groups that the everyday "normal" person loves to forget about.
Isn't it our responsibility as humans to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves because they are the minority? Instead we sit there and watch it happen because it doesn't affect us.

Even though they are nice, i still believe they are going to Hell, but i treat them they way they deserve. if somone is a jerk to me, i wont treat them nice, even if they are Christian, but if somone is a good person, i will treat them accordingly.
That, as a christian, is wrong. No matter how you are treated by someone else you should, as Jesus put it, turn the other cheek. If you are treated badly by someone you should still treat them as one of God's children because they are.
Now to my comment about this thread.
Lich I have a quote for you:
He who is without sin may cast the first stone.
Do you do no wrong? Then by all means, hate whom ever you wish. But you are not perfect, nor will you ever be perfect. And neither are those you claim a hate day on for they showed you their true nature when they lashed out at you from hurt. I understand you were just trying to make a point to those who single out those who have different sexual prefrences, those who choose abortion over life, and those who believe in no God or the wrong God. My point here is that you are just as wrong as they are even if your intent was to make a good point.
Anyways, just had to say that. But Lich, your plan to make that point was good it is just the way you went about it that was wrong. Your post was very nicely put and worded. I commend you on that and the point you were trying to make.

I guess you should be nice to everyone, even the people that are jerks. Because you believe that they will get what's coming to them after they die, namely, going to hell.
So all you Christianites should be nice to all those pricks out there, because deep down inside, you know they're going to burn in hell for all eternity. Be an upstanding Christian and show them some respect before their backs are whipped and clawed by little monsters for 1000 years.
Something like that.

No shane the way i went about doing it was perfect, Set and taught Psyc 101, I took something that everyone who knows me could believe and turned it on them, made them the minority, and no I hate no one. untill they give me a reason to, It doesnt matter to me what your gods name is, It doesn't matter to me who you sleep with. What does matter to me is when a world is filled with hate for no reason at all.Ok not trying to start an arguement with you on this DC but I would like to point out something that I, myself, do not see eye to eye with you on. And I am a born again Christian. Even though I do have a ever growing evil streak in me.

Shane the way i went about it was perfect fo two reasons, christians are not a minority they do not get to feel what they dish out every single day, I am pagen so when i posted that even people who have known me for years, Were positive i had turned on them even though they all have never once seen me hate someone for being christian but for being a biggott.
But now they felt like maha said what it felt to be grouped it a whole, now they have seen what it felt like to be the one told how wrong heir lives are and why. I used only real instances, only real hings that christians have done to people, and guess what that hate that they felt was exactly what they wre meant to. but it is not just for one day that is every single day of your life.

you are 100% correct. what i mean is that if somone is a jerk to me, i will not particlarly go out of my way to assosiate with them beyond witnessing occasioanly. while i admit i am not perfect about it, i do try to treat poeple in a good way. i believe that the way you live is the greatest testimony of Christ.Ok not trying to start an arguement with you on this DC but I would like to point out something that I, myself, do not see eye to eye with you on. Ohhhhh and the anger that came from that, But no shane I out of 75 people i have now talked or recieved email from all of them who were involved, to me it was worth it the second that i reached one person and you know what, of all the email only one was still mad, and all the rest i have talked to, half of them read my post and said you know what you were right, two have stated that they today removed signs that been posted near their houses, Carrying the hateful message about gays, when prior to that they had left them alone because freedom of speach right.
I didn't just prove my point to them, i did prove i could be just as hatefull as them, but its funny you never hear stories of gays beating heteros or christians up. but you remind of one thing that one other who was really extremly mad said. "You know what at first i was so mad i couldn't think right after i read it, but it was only because you used the fact we were christian, then i thought about that and it came to me its only the fact that they are gay that we use.
