So today, I log on and as usual, some newb was talking crap to me, and since i just fixed my usb port yesterday on my cpomputer, i decided i would show him i wasnt a newb by pk'ing him, he seemed to think he could kill me. Anyways so i type /load sk8ermage and my browser comes up but doesnt load it, i look through the S" in my account and oddly, Sk8ermage has been turned to SkaterMage. So here i am, on the forums looking for an answer as to why my characters name has been changed. if i knew of any other characters with numbers besides E2 and Junior2 i would check to see if they have found, but i dont. junior2 hasnt been changed and i think e2 was deleted. anyways, im just here wondering why all of a sudden, after 2 years of my crit being Sk8ermage, why it was changed to SkaterMage without me requestion or paying for the change and why others with numbers havent been changed. and if you guys are cracking down on numbered names, at to why after 2 years of allowing old crits to have numbers, youve finally decided to remove them.

why exactly have certain rules been placed onto some people, and not others. i know yourself has said only 1 person gets initials capitalized, jlh. so why are people like XXX and GPS walking around, it seems like a backwards system here. but since my characters name was changed from Sk8ermage to SkaterMage, dont you think I should be able to change its name to what i want to, as SkaterMage just doesnt gave the same flare. just makes sense to me if a characters name is going to be changed in any form, that the person should have the choice to have it changed to what they would like within the new set of legal peremiters

CKY is a band. CKY is a movie series that is formed around the show Jackass, although twice as funny. Yeah, it's vulgar and obscene.
But what TV shows aren't anymore? the more tits you show the better your ratings. I personally watch CKY and listen to CKY cause the band is just great, and the show is funny as hell.

From the movie the XXX did have a meaning it didnt say it in the movie but the book did.
Xciting Xtreme Xstasy the description of the feelings that the man got when performing a stunt, all things that are not offensive to adults playing the game or to any governmental code anywhere. does it matter if all three Xs are caped no not at all because the crits name will be the same, and triple x can mean anything really.
THC on the other hand is the main thing that gives you a buzz in POT this is offensive to some adults and can be listed as a banned name.(not that I care as me and THC, not the player are old friends.)
CKY either TV show or band has lyrics and language that are rated as unsuitable to children, again could be on a banned name list.
as to if this is why I have no clue but this is my thoughts on it.
You could change the name XXX to lower case with two XXs and it wouldnt matter at all, while THC and CKY must be caped to mean what they are.

Here, I have an idea. Since Americans love to replace anythign cencored with the letter x, let's ban all crits that contain the letter x in their names. Xlibre might be pornlibre, how would we know? Heck, let's ban the letter x from the alphabet and ban anyone using it in open chat.
Get real people, the crit XXX was named after the movie with completely innocent intentions. Let me write to Sony and complain about the naming of the movie as well.
For all I care, rename the crit to xXx or Bob or Engelbert, won't change the crit itself.

I never said anything about the letter X. X in cojunction with 2 more capital X's, is a porn referance.

Because people make it that way, doesn't mean it is. What about the name Pimp, it's all about personal preference, and yours didn't pass, well tough luck. There's no rule book, JLH and Pandi make it up as they go along..
