****** was ripped to shreds by Sniper's dual shot from his Steel Long Bow.

OK now I'm just wondering wtf is up nowdays? I mean come on kiddies you can't be so stupid to think that the sewers are a good place to duel for 1, and for 2 did momm and daddy really raise you so bad as to call ppl names when the dont know wtf your talking about? I'm not here looking to see this little child get banned, I'm just wondering wtf your getting these little attitudes from.

Staff, I don't bash yas, nor am I attempting to, but what happened? Your slipping as well. I've seen more obscene language in the past few months then I have in long time. And yes, alot IS in open chat. I'll admit, I use bad language myself, but I keep it to specific places at least.

I thought it was an accepted fact that with the larger community comes a larger number of players who're rude and such.

But I get your point. It isn't needed, and people need to learn to respect eachother.

Whenever I PK Dognapot, which is like, on a daily basis, twice even, he always pages me with horrendous expletives and I usually go to my room shaking and begin crying into my pillow, and make a point of going to church on that Sunday.

lmao Deval, pages from friends are different, there is a line established there. This made me think a little bit though. I have no clue wtf this kid is, or how old he is. The more this goes on the worse it gets, and HAS to the point I see it daily in open chat.

Maybe age is getting to me, or maybe my bald head got too much sun lately , but at this rate its almost as if part of the T.O.S is just tossed out with the garbage.

Dan, just do what i do. if i see anybody using foul language in any chat other than Clan Chat (because i think clan chat is acceptable), i report to JLH over MSN, and the problem is dealt with almost immediately.

There is little point in leaving us a memo/email as we can't check for it later, just try to ignore the evil that spoke.

Anything we're informed of, we'll act on although I doubt any of us are gonna sit there monitoring the game.

I can deal with the fact ppl like to use profanity, I just am simply wondering how in the hell it got to be this bad. The heck with respect. I live for the off the wall pages when I pk someone. Hell If they come up with something orginal that makes me laugh I usually give them the gold back.

For those that choose to page please be more orginal then a$$hole, phagot, tatterhead, etc... I really like the ones were you go on about, "If I had my bla bla bla you wouldn`t have done that" or "Stay right there I am gonna go get my clannies and show you a thing or two"

And for those that might take this outta context and think I am boasting about being all that. I am not. I am and will always be the King N00b.

And if you really sit back and think about it the responses you get are that of the true person behind the character.

I like when I pk someone and they tell me that they are going to hack into my computer and blow it up then have my house robbed. haha. Thats still on my #1 list for like 2 months now.

Solution 1: Tell RoK to keep their server up.
Most of this crap started when members of Realms of Kaos started logging into nightmist because their game can't keep a server up for more than 5 minutes.

Solution 2: JLH could hire undercover monitors.
These monitors would be normal, trusted players (Deval, Dan, Bishop, Amy, Sexyangeleyes, Vampressmisty, and alot more other people), and if any profanity is used in open chat, you can ban then. It wouldnt say WHO banned them, as the person must keep quiet about their ability, so we can catch out the people who are spoiling the game for others.

Solution 3: Stop the game, unhost the server, ban all the players, delete the source code.
Something which wont happen, so....on to solution 4

Solution 4: Filters.
Yeah, filters can be worked out, but so could banning, and autorollers, which is why JLH works to make the game better, and safer.

Squiggle, None of those solutions would work.

Solution 1 is true, but wouldn't work. Don't you think that if they could keep RoK up, they would?

Solution 2 would work for about a day. If you hired 'monitors' then people would quickly come to know who they are and just not swear when there around. Might aswell just stick with the current staff members.

Solution 3 isn't worthy of a response.

Solution 4 wouldn't work because people would just put * in place of letters. Fúcking wouldn't get filtered out, but it's still obvious what there saying. People will always find ways around swear filters.

yeah, cussing in nm has gotten incredibly overwhelming. i see it constantly. cussing isnt the only problem though. i find more people are saying things out of the games context i.e. sexual situations, racism, oog harm. something needs to be done before nothing can be done about it

On a more serious note, the cussing annoys me too. I do have a daughter who started playing recently, and I only let her play when I am sitting with her watching out for language when it's supposed to be a game for all ages.

Actually I do like Squiggle's idea about moderators who are not known to public, but then some actual staffer would have to monitor those bans as well to make sure these people are not abusing the newfound power.

As I said earlier, it would take only a few days for people to find out who the hidden people are, so why bother?

Thanks, but i give up with suggesting ways to make the game a better place for all ages. If you read my previous post about the removal of PKing (seeing as that's where it all starts), you will notice the tremendous amount of flaming i got. *shrugs*
