What a great weapon, even if it takes 1,000,000 kills to get...
I'm wondering who had this idea because I like it. It gives me more chances to PK people and it is making the Northern Gatehouse the new Southern Gatehouse. Great idea. A pat on the back to the staffer who plotted this. ^.^
btw if anyone ends up getting that staff... Wow.

but
hey! lets just overpower the most overpowered class even more than they already are!
why not give pallys 15 dex gloves so they can dodge and actually HIT nuts for once ? why not give fighters a weapon that makes people actually WANT to use them ?
( this would take a seriously good weapon like a 34 base with vamp and a stat/ac mod )
the only thing on this game that doesnt need help is fking mages/druids
I mean you can buy the best possible nuts for a fighter and they dont hit more than 100 damage on a arch with decent eq yet a ranger with store boughts can hit a good 150+ damage and the fighter struggles to hit 100+ a round when you spend 20m on eq
when is the last time a fighter won the triplex or a pally ?
the point of this post is why is EVERY single new quest item/drop some way to make druids/mages better ? when did fighters/pallys get something insane that gives them a edge when they have it ?
I mean druids can spell stack to nuts and beat anything 1v1 everytime cept another druid and maybe a devastate mage pallys could spell stack on all their spells and still not be feared as much as a full eq mage/druid

Muchless, I was REALLY against a mage weapon with mana leech, but I think this will be under control to an extent. It's overpowered, but it's not as bad as some things could be.
At least it's not simply being dropped on the ground.

Edit: Don't really think it's overpowered either. Won't stop a mage being rounded by another mage, and won't stop it being clicked by a zerker.

And I'm sure there is some other stuff I missed out probably.
Point is the pimped out mages get
-Some giant amount of Ac
-Can hit for 70+
-A Vamp weapon, as well as mana leech.
Also Alan, it may not stop them being rounded by other mages who are also pimped out, but it doesn't give other classes a chance other than the zerks.
All the time while other stuff in game needs some serious boosting pvp and pvm.

Perhaps there could be something done about dragging them into the forest? Not that it's a big deal, but I've never been able to drag "dem wabbits" into it.
The square of the meadow that joins the Large Forest is set so monsters are not allowed to be dragged onto it, but a Magimox spawns on the same square, and can be dragged off of it (but not back onto it again).
