[Hatchet Crew]

Just wondering what u think makes nightmist good or bad?

its better then good its great i love the game its just so much fun plus it gives me something to do other then just sitting around and watchin tv


GOOD:
people playin a fun game together
great maps
lots of monsters to kill
great staff
the staff actually listen to you
the game keeps geating better and better over time

Bad:
can only lvl up to 30
not alot of weapons or enough good weapons at least
pking poeple 5 lvl lower then you
people yelling over and over and over and over and........

Good= Lots of people/friends I've grown to meet & love over the years.

Bad= Some of the players' attitudes.

it leaves a funny after taste I think, but its really not that bad, most of the people are decent but too many dumbasses so I have to live in a seperate city from most other people but other then that its not so bad...game game is good

Good -> Rats say Squee, Vampire bats go Sqveek and spiders say Mip.

Bad -> Tables and Chairs make sexual comments at me.

Good - A community that is built off a good medium.
Bad - Not having the enthusiasm to train anymore.

bad - the mandatory 5 crits that allow you to enjoy it all.

How Nightmist has relied on the use of alts isn't all that great either.

i just dont like that some of the people are just jerks...some peoples whole lifes goal is to make it hard for other people to play and advance. mostly everything else is great

I think theres to many people that feel the need to start things that are either none of their business or they just relly have no idea what they are talking about, everybody knows that theres so much nuts that goes on in this game that most people dont care about or shouldnt care about...theres just a bunch of "drama" that goes on and thats a big downer is all i guess

The upside is atleast its something to waste some time(although most people im sure sit on here more then they'd like to)but atleast you get to meet some alright people

Good: alts people staff
Bad: the lvl 10 pking rule and pacifist

[Flux]

Good:
Tightly-woven community,
Still young (for a MUD),
Bug fixes on a regular basis,
Good-sized map,
Good client,
Stable server,
Nice player events,
Nice player-generated economy.

Bad:
Alt-dominated game,
Lack of engine depth (such as alignment, player skills, deity system),
No point allocation system,
Relatively low level cap,
Relatively high player-quit rate (due most likely to lack of depth)
Slow to incorporate major game engine changes, if at all (see attribute points)
Amateurish website.

Improving:
Weapon/Item variety,
Class/race balance,
Website functionality (crit resets, name changes etc),
Independence from need of constant staff interaction (for trades, moderating)
Overall ingameprofessionalism (less NO PICS, less ingame typos and grammatical errors).

A bit straightforward, perhaps, but only because I'd love for nothing more than this game to become even greater.

Good:

• You can now curse on this forum without the word '****' being turned into 'poo'
• Variety of different personalitys and attitudes in game (good or bad)
• Yelling the big butt song
• Random staff events or moshes even though they arent very often

Bad:

• Needs to go beyond lvl 30
• Not enough food stoof o.o
• Not being able to yell more than 4 times within 30 seconds

My favorite thing about this game is the people on it. But I also have to add that the least favorite thing about this game is the people on it. I've met some wonderful people on this game... but I've also met the biggest jackasses around.

Other bad things (and/or annoyances):
Drama
Beggars
People with names I want

Also for bad things:

The fact bosses and moshes and anything really is taken by the big clans.. you try get a piece yourself.. you get killed for it. You guys should at least have the respect to let the person stay there if he came before mod or something.
Another thing, the fact most people are greedy and will do anything for items.

The NM community lacks compassion. If you're really lost or something in the game and seriously need help, more than likely the first person to find you will kill you.

Most of the previous posts summed it up but I yhink it's more good than abd because it's so hard too quit. (That can be considered a bad thing).

When will you understand that Drama is PART of Nightmist, and without it. It would not be the same, it'd be even more boring. It makes the game more exciting, so stfu and let the drama continue .

Yes, I understand that this, infact, is poo. But it's much needed poo.

EDIT: I thought the other word for poo would be filtered

EDIT #2: I have the most posts, that much is true.. But I've also told both Pandilex and JLH, that if they so wish, reduce my post count to 0. I just like posting, I don't like the idea of post counts (as I've said in previous threads).
At the least, I have a grasp on what I'm talking about.. Which is more than can be said of some people posting randomly around the forum.

edit: well I dont really care about the count eather I just like this new forum so much that i cant stop postin plus if JLH takes my count back to 0 i dont care it doesnt matter to me not one bit just as long as i know how many i post since i join the site i would be happy like in the player porfile just like in the old forum

Ahh, I try and do my best to help players.. or have anyways. Not every player is bound to kill you when you need someones help. Those who do it just find it comical to do.. because they're new at the game.

When I'm lost... I always find myself.. and laugh at the fact that I couldn't believe I'd get lost somewhere where I've been to so many times. Maps are a good use for getting lost.. and Samus's reference site is also helpful when needing to find out certain goodies.
