i was just kinda wondering what religion everyone was. i know there is a lot more, but if it is somthing else just post it. and if it is Christian please state which denomonation (presbeterian, protestant etc..). also i put catholicism and christianity as two different things because there are major differences and i believe they should be considered two different religions.
as for me, i am non-denominational Christian. of any denomination it would be closest to protestant i think.
i was just wondering about the rest of nightmist.

ps sry if i spelled some wrong.
I believe in the Triune God;God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit.I believe that while I was helpless and sinful, Christ died for me. Therefore, I now have the righteousness of God, old things have passed away and I am a child of God. I cannot be separated from the love of God, Christ lives in my heart by faith and therefore, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have been chosen by God and appointed to bear fruit for God. I resist the devil and he flees from me.

We've got our own religion in Coolsville.

But seriously, I'm not sure if there is such a thing as not having a religion. That's what I'd like to be.

Yes there are huge diffrences between catholicism and christianity. Catholics like to drink wine and touch little boys.

My grandmother is a Jehovah's Witness. My mother does not believe in any kind of deity or religion. My father WAS religious, and now isn't!

My own beliefs tend to be a patchwork of Shamanism and Paganism (real-life Druids!), with Christian values... I'm probably a bit unsure of my spiritual path!

No because to be satanic, The Atheist and Pegan would then have to agree that the god of the bible exists, Since satan was an angel who got greedy. But since we don't it is impossible for us to be satanic.

Edit sorry misread your post bubba but i fixed it.

I really can't tell you what religion I am, but;

I believe in God.
I believe in what the Bible says.
I do pray.
Sometimes I pray for a CSotW.
I ask myself, what would Jesus do if he was being chased by 10+ archmaster berserkers.

On the contrary; I do not attend church, for I feel it is hypocritical (sp?), 90% of the time, usually wanting money.

I've always seen Atheism as a sort of 'I don't want to believe', opposed to just, not knowing either way (Agnostic).

Well, all of Nightmist is "spiritism" by their books, and not following the Bible.

Let's put it this way. I'm as sure there is no God or other higher being, as anyone else is sure there is a God or higher being. :unsure:

Not to impose on DC's choices here but...aren't Morman and Jehovah's Witness both denominations of Christianity? It was my understanding that any religion that sees Jesus as God (be it son of God or otherwise), is a Christian religion.

Also, looking at the choices, you missed out on Hinduism and Islamic faith (which are some of the fastest growing religions) ^^;

Edit: Grammar. >_<

Me being an Atheist, I dont beleive in jack squat. But i do beleive in one thing. In my own personal Opinion I beleive that Religion was created for something people can turn to in time of pain and sorrow, Something to blame or something to turn to when they feel there is nothing left. So the word religion was passed around saying there religion has all the answers and yadda yadda. But i think the coolest Religion out there, if i were to ever be converted, would be Catholics. Who else gets drunk in church and sips on bubbly... :unsure:

I have no idea what to consider myself so I chose Other. I guess I'm a Heinz 57 religious person. I was raised on my dad's side Evangalical Christian, but was baptised catholic. I guess you could say I'm a sorta Budd/tao/christ/hind/nature/wiccanist. Yes I know that doesnt make much sence but I believe in parts of all of those religions.
I find religions interesting and I actually enjoy learning about different religions.

yeah i know i didnt make the best choices up there, i just put what came to my head first. and mornamism, jehovas witness and catholicism are in MANY ways different from Christianity. some poeple consider them a denomination, but if you look into it, there are enouch differences to show that they are entirely different.
I believe in the Triune God;God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit.I believe that while I was helpless and sinful, Christ died for me. I pray to god, but I don't belive he exists.
My whole family is catholic but I see no need to follow their path, but I go to church on special occasions to make my grandmother happy.
