Hi fellow ppl's of the world,

Was told by the G/f that my wanting to play Nightmist was leading to my being anti-social, and that it was unhealthy, how-ever I'm not on that much anymore due to work committments etc, so wanted to see what you lot thought...

Ps

Sorry If I posted this in the wrong spot, but I thought that this was linked to future game evolution

naw, i have a very active social life - tho im sure if some of my mates found out i play this game they would be shocked lol.
This is like my secret sin and it dont get in the way of anything especially when im at uni as im just playing when i have nothing else to do!
If smoking 1 cig takes 30 seconds from my life, but laughing adds 5 minutes, if I get stoned every night do I live forever?

Voted yes because I'm single.

I have a great work and social life but sometimes Nightmist is a great escape. I have turned down going out often if a quest or something comes up, it saves you money and isn't exactly going to make you ill in the morning.

THE GREAT ESCAAAAAPE!
I wouldn't mind stabbing you in the face, if that's cool with you?

No, because im not single.

I have been with tania for about 5 and a half years now and have been playing NM for close to two. NM is very addictive, i will give you that. I even had her playing it once (in hope that it would cause for less arguments and so forth between us..lol) But you just have to find that middle ground. I try to play mostly when they are sleepig or she is busy and so forth. Since I dont got out partying and drinking....she knows this is one of my only "great escapes" as well...lol. I tell all my friends that i play this, but since i can beat them all up, they dont say a word. NM is and always will be an addictive game, but you just have to remember when the game ends and real life begins.

I voted No, because I have a life.

I'm on Nightmist a lot, or at least I used to be until summer. A lot of people thought I was addicted, but I'm only on when there isn't anything to do. I'm out with friends just about every day, but if I stay home, I've got just about nothing better to do than play Nightmist, so I do.

No, it doesn't interfere with my life, as I do other things with my time. Like reading, writing, and photography.

Josh, remember that time when Tobin and I came to your house and asked you to come to the pool with us while you were on Nightmist, but you told us you couldn't because you had to clean? But when we came back THREE HOURS later, you were still on Nightmist! Haha

I'm addicted to NM to the point that I have to at least log on once a day even if it's just long enough to check memos and that's satisfying enough for me. Otherwise, I do have a life with family and work and school and wouldn't trade any of it to play this game 24/7. NM is an escape from reality and lets me tests things about myself that I otherwise would not be like or have in real life.

On a side note, does anyone think that people's lack of proper english skills results from Nightmist?

Actually, aside from "wanna" and "btw" he spelled nothing wrong. Spell check doesnt fix grammar bro. ((Alright, it does for certain versions of Word)

Josh doesn't lack any English skills, it's the internet, no one really cares. I know him in real life, and I've read some of his papers.

"On a side note, does anyone think that peoples lack of" common sense results from Nightmist?
We're talking about if you think you're addicted.

Oh, and Josh, why'd your story just change? You told us that you fell asleep and had just got back on Nightmist when we showed up. It's ok, I know you're addicted ;)

My bad.
Steps off his nuts.
I wasn't saying you had bad english, it was just that you used the incorrect form of "hear".
And I never said you were addicted.
To get back on topic...
I don't believe anyone's addicted, unless you classify enjoying something as addiction.
My freinds think I'm addicted to Goldfish... but I just think they taste so good I can't stop eating them. I think thats how it is with Nightmist. We aren't addicted, but it's so much more interesting than real life for some of us, that we play it a lot more than we should.
