Hello. It's time to some noob questions. Don't drop off from your chair.

What is idea of Alchemy Shop of Arilin? There is a coupe of interesting potions, but they all cost too much. I have got the vampire blood potions and tarma potions from the Swamp area sometimes, but can't sell them to shop keeper. I heard that all those potions (or most of them) is possible to get free from monsters. Well, who really buy those potions from the shop? In my case (I'm a poor noobish crap talker) the shop is very useless.

just because people dont usually buy stuff from the shop, doesnt mean it shouldnt be there. not all the potions drop; atleast i havent gotten them. i like it, gives arilin flavor. there needs to be more 'odd' shops throughout other cities. Dendeya is definately one that could use a couple odd shops.

There are other things for sale, that people seem to pay for, when you can get them for free.

I don't think anyone actually buys them because no pot really lasts long enough to buy it rather than simply go get it.

Vampire Blood Potion
Tarma Potion
Dark Mist Potion (think same used to drop Ethreal Potion, might still be a %)

...those are the only ones that come to my head quickly as to things that are dropped.

Jaguar Potion is very expensive, honestly don't think anyone buys them, some have gotten from quests though I think...

The Jaguar Potion is the one potion I've wondered most about and I've heard that it's supposed to give you infinite stamina for like one or two minutes. I'm not too sure if it's true but I'm pretty sure that I would give you unlimited stamina.

haha the Jaguar Potion, ahhh that brings back memories. Back in the ealry days of NM, i had delusions about soloing the lag monster with theives using Jaguar Potions and the "infinate stamina", alas JLH corrected me one day and explained that it isnt infiniate stamina, rather everytime your stamina bar refills its full, therefor the Jaguar Potion is like a mage casting, whats the spell ummm haste i think? So its not really infinate rather your stamina bar is just full after a regular normal wait for the bar to fill up. Heh not worth the 1mill price if you ask me

Jaguar potion does give you infinite stamina. When you perform any action that would reduce stamina, your bar remains full. If you use an ability that uses all your stamina, then it uses 10 (eg. Rapid Fire).

So...you rapid fire for 10 hits in a row..but you could hold down the dual shot macro and it'd hit forever til the pot ran out?

You can rapid fire forever too, but each time it'd only do 10 and youd'd have to r/f again. (Either way yes- it'd keep going for 30 seconds or however long it lasts).

soooo if you used it with a thief how would that work? ....seems JLH was misleading in his explanation of the JP.

If you hold down a macro to assassinate, it will do it over and over and over in theory, but only using 10 stamina worth each time

OOOO k, so rapid fire wouldn't make you wait to regain stam, would just not be 1 rapid fire forever and ever....you would have to hold mac and it'd basically scroll the heck out of you with rapid fires til you lagged out...or for 15 secs?

(About a week ago I saw someone try to kill pete with a thief and a jag pot actually heh-probably got in about 150 assassinates.. didn't get it past healthy tho.)

I'm still wondering about it's duration, you know, if you r/f the 10 times, how long could you do that?
a/o how often would it regenerate?

I believe it would be refreshed straight away, it's just the fact that you do 10 rapid movements per click.

well if u guys wanna do something together maybe some day like 20-30 of us can all buy ourself a jag potion .. get a thief or zerk (they seem to hit it best and hardest) spell it up go up to petes drink our potion and all of us at once just nail the nuts outta him .. lol .. see what happens .. it would be massive lag but maybe we could kill him

jaguar potions last for 5 minutes.

herric never dropped etheral potion, he dropped lycanthrope potion which was a morph for the old druid system, once the new one was in place the potion was removed from game.

Not saying you're wrong, just seems like a long time to me, I'd always heard it was 15 secs.

Jaguar pots last for like 20 or 30 seconds, and after you've used your first 6 stam it gives you instant regains of 2 stamina, Dustin/Destruction bought one before he quit and used it on Crazy Pete it looked really cool but didn't last long

It's not 5 minutes.

It's 30 seconds, for definate.

As for attacks that use all stamina at once(except rapid fire) - Basically everytime you press the macros for /assassinate pete, it will count it as if you are assassinting with 1 stamina, so basically you'll end up doing this -

You drank a jag pot.
You assassinate pete for 300 dmg
You assassinte pete for 70 dmg
You assassinate pete for 65 dmg....
etc

Not sure if its the same for smite, but i'd imagine so.
