Public speaking... I can comprehend. Its an old friend, an old enemy- I've done it, will have to do it again... I despise public speaking... indeed, I fear it.
When I moose up infront of a load of my 'peers' whilst public speaking... I have to live with that. There is mockery and laughter, if I sound like an idiot it shows it up, when I mumble and dont say words, people point it out, if I dont understand something but have to talk about it... they will ask the questions which prove I'm just reciting my socks off. ^^
(yes, I'm a little paranoid about public speaking)
Plus... and possibly most of all... you have to look at people. People you know and people you don't. And people watch you :S
So... I would agree. In my mind, public speaking is scarier

Ever since then.. I've had a constant fear of speaking publicly. I hate talking on the phone to others. I hate ordering my own food when going to restaurants. I tend to stay quiet around friends and family.
I took Speech class my Senior year.. not knowing what I was getting myself into. I'd always miss school on the day I had to speak.. and assignments were due. The following day the teacher would ask if I was prepared to do my speech.. and I told her.. "No." She wasn't too keen of me for it. When I would get up and actually talk.. I'd stutter my ass off.. and have these long pauses in between what I was trying to explain. How I managed to pass that class, I have no clue.
When coming to.. fearing speakng publicly and death.. they nearly tie. Like I said before.. I fear how I'm going to die.. rather than plain ol' death itself. Death just slightly outweighs speaking in front of others.

It's not so much dying that i'm afraid of, it's the pain i don't want to go through.

Never really been a big dieer either.
I feel that saying less is better. If I can shorten a 50 word statement into 13, then by jeebus I'm doing it.
