People have been telling me that Bob Marley is "overrated", so I just get into an argument with them. So I was wondering if anyone else thought the same way the people at my school think.

So give me some feedback on this one

I'd say he overrated... Not as much as a lot of other people... But somewhat overrated. If it weren't for all of those pot smoking hippies out there, he'd hardly have a fan base at all.

He's overrated in the same sense that any artist/group is overrated to a person who dislikes the music, and is talking to someone who adores the music in question.

I used to enjoy driving round in my mates car, listening to his music. Shame those days are gone.

That's such a brutal way to kill someone. Must take some big as stones. Wouldn't really work with small stones.. They're just make small marks. Need bricks and stuff..

He's not horrible...But I don't hold any value in his music. Just not my taste - it's just not something I can relate to which is an important aspect to me when it comes to music. In high school a lot of people I knew were obsessed with him so I had to hear it every single day and I will admit it made me a bit bitter towards his music by no fault of his own.

I can listen to the occasional Bob Marley song, but I doubt I would enjoy hearing more than one in a row. Yay for variety.

I don't know who Bob is! I've heard the name loads of times. I don't recall ever hearing any of his music. All that I've come to hear is that.. he's a pot head. I don't find him to be overrated tho.. as you never hear him (I don't think) in the media. Back in the days I'm sure he was.
