But thinking about it, i like to get a bit argumentative on certain threads, wouldn't becoming a mod preclude me from that type of behaviour?

It really all depends on your job. If you have apprentices at the company, use them to entertain you. Get a few co-workers involved to help you, and tell your apprentice to find the weights for the spirit level. We had fun for hours sending our apprentices back and forth to find a non-existing item.

lol..i did that before, we had a new guy helping me with laying tiles and i told him to go get some elbow grease and headlight fluid...

Or you could just find a very entertaining way to get yourself fired, then go out and find something FUN to do
