I have a friend who is talking with me through AIM and hasn't been able to get into Nightmist since the game dumped both of us about 8 am. (my time) yesterday, about 30 hours ago. Anyway, I got back into the game, but when he clicks on the crit he wants to play, it says 'waiting' and goes no further. He went to the website to see what help it mentioned, and he can't access the website either. I emailed him the Nightmist installer and he deleted and reinstalled the game, but still has the same things happening.
He says he didn't change anything on his computer.
I sent all the suggestions from the FAQ page to him, but since he can't access the website either, that part didn't seem to be addressed.
Any suggestions for him? He's only been playing a week and I hate to see a new player get discouraged.
Thank you.

this is generally down to the recent IP changes of the server due to ISP maintainance, if ISPs don't honor the timeouts i've set on the DNS, then they'll be giving you the old IPs so you can't connect.

and
http://82.12.223.87/nmsite/dlnm.html
and see if they both bring up the nightmist download page.

He says, "it just stays white and continues to try and connect" ... "both don't work"
