HI, well i just saw a thread on making skins in here, someone was struggling, and I thought "well what if we could test out new skins without being connected to the internet?"

I propose something simple....

1.Take the client project in vb.
2.delete all forms except the main one
3.delete all code except that that loads up skins
4.add a menu option to load a new skin

voila. a skin testing environment :P

this will far simplify the making of skins, and will therefore allow even AOLers to manage it :P

I'd love to see a program designed specifically for making new skin layouts. Something simple which lets you move around and resize the various bars/windows/items and sends the output when you're done to a .skn file for ingame usage.

Now that would be DAMN GOOD! but the amount of work required for such a program is phenominal (sp?). id be happy with the first prog atm

altho you could have it with another form on which you put a load of textboxes for each property so you have a step-by-step update environment?

dragging stuff around i would say is hard work however, and in JLHs postiion, i would be keen to avoid.....
