Beware of Anesthesia or alts. Marsh on the forum. He gets into your clan and then boots all of the members if not demoted in time.

Oh and before you say about, being foolish I know its my fault just a warning!

The way in which he does it is he asks to be have a crit demoted who he says is his alt and have this one promoted. Worked on me because Im a Tool lol.

Lucky for the clan "Silver" it didn't work he tried same tactic, but he made the mistake of trying it with the chairmans alt. So he knew something was up. Just be warned.

How fast did you promote him to founder? =\ Back when I was in larger clans before I started my own for a few people - it took forever and alot of trust and clan contribution to become a founder of a clan...

You don't need to be a founder to boot members, Leaders can boot as well. Most people promote new members so they can quickly invite their alts into the clan.

Yes I promoted him to leader, fell for the trick I mentioned in the post. To be honest I don't see what benefit he gets out of this.

copy and erase that
type: /clan appoint (name)
hit enter
hit control+v
as soon as you see anything funny, hit enter. Cmon, if your gonna appoint them to invite alts, you only make them a leader. A leader can only remove people one at a time...slow reaction time?

Also... tag all people in your clan? make them have the same tag? That way you know who's who?

a leader can do /clan remove position as well so just watch who you trust and make sure you know the person

I think I explained it wrong...

It has nothing to do with appoint him to invite alts.

I made the mistake of trusting him, when he said it was his alt as leader.

So I made him leader and demoted the other one; He started booting people after I had gone. The only reason he didn't boot everyone is because a membre managed to get in contact with a founder and he logged on as fast as he could and booted him.

...Ive seen this done probs 10 times. Its alomst a sport lol people use /clan remove position (bla) and they use macros by the time they hit 12 macros you can lose 100+ members wow now thats kinda funny but for real people grow up.

Leadership should be something that is earnt. I never promote anyone to leader just so they can add their alts - I always add them personally.

Yeah he tried to trick me twice...but both times he used my alts and said "dang ah well it worked in the last clan i was in."
