Nah, i don't want to know if people like other than that stuff, because i personally think its the worst music out there. But thats my opinion. And i meant favourite genre out of those, not any others, lol.

Juno, as with almost any song, is annoying when it's repeated several hundred times in various places (radio, tv, piped in every store everywhere) as it was where I live for a month.

Bad religion remains my favorite band, as the only band to hold my interest for so many years - except for maybe primus, but I'd still say bad religion. As for a specific favorite genre, eh. I couldn't say.

I believe in a pathetically desperate attempt to justify their music, and to give it some form of independence from other music styles, the artists now refer to R&B as Rythmn & Beats. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame.

I doubt anyone here knows who Funeral for a Friend (Juno is an awesome song) is.  Emo can be used to describe everything from Dashboard Confessional to Every Time I Die.

AS i said it was my opinion...And also, its not modern crap, Metallica is like the best music ever created, with Kirks kick ass solo's . Metallica owns all Blues and stuff, so i don't -really- care. lol.

Wow, it's amazing how quick people are willing to jump to defend their music likes/'dis' other types - When they know so little on the actual subject, I don't profess to know anything, but at least I can admit it - Everyone has their own taste, doesn't mean it's wrong or that it's 'crap'. What is wrong, as already said, is when people aren't willing to take in anothers music likes.

No thrice isnt metal in my opinion, but there is some of there work which isn't emo, and as many people who hate emo have said, thrice stand out as a much more talented, moving on to metal band. There is very little songs that thrice have emotional words in etc. Thrice are an extremely talented band, and don't whine about crap.

I go death metal, any hard rock is good though, I occationally listen to AFI, though there are kinda emo...People say I'm wierd that I like crazy head-banging music and soft music as well. Guess we all have a soft side, I try to think I don't.
